Title: SUPER Saturday
Post by Greens_Win on Mar 15th, 2014 at 5:33am
Those voting in the two state elections today, remember to balance state and federal. Conservative governments in both and an undecided make up of the senate ... could mean extreme right will be your future.

Moderate and balance things by voting Greens or some other progressive party/independent in South Australia & Tasmania today.

Anyone who votes Liberal today, after seeing what The Simian has done
federally, are either idiots or traitors.

One, or the other (or possibly both).

You lot really do deserve to be the target of an uprising.

You are traitors.

Our enemies are not in Afghanistan or Iraq, or on boats in the Timor Sea.

They are here among us, they are the the extreme right-wing conservative
fascists and the nationalists.

Both should be resisted, whatever it takes.

Yep, swing voters like backing a winner. Its a shame late polls play such a big part with news going into elections.

Yes its a super Saturday to be sure

Election eve poll puts Tasmanian Liberals on track for majority government

Afterall, the lefties seem to be excited about Abbotts latest polls and labor seem to govern by polls. So these latest polls can only have a hideline like above.

You cant have your cake and eat it too lefties.

And if they don't win majority, will it be Abbott's fault?

If they don't, will they keep on negotiating with the Greens for a coalition government between the two parties?

We've seen this scenario before. Once we have Libs in every state and territory and a Lib PM - it usually starts to change again, although it might be different this time around. Labor seriously need to get their act together, work with the Greens and Independents and stop rubbishing them. They need the numbers.

When a political party has no opposition - then they've got free rein to trash the country, which is exactly what we're seeing now.

But the greens and labor trashed the country while there was an opposition.

Regardless of what happens, there will still be an opposition.

The facts simply do not bear this out, so why are you lot persisting with it
in the face of a far worse performance by the current shambles?

Welded-onto the Libs?

Or just plain dumb?

Please keep thinking people are as stupid as you are to think federal and state issues are the same thing with the same outcomes. The best thing for Labor would be those pissant states going conservative, it will make Labor even more likely to win the only election that matters, the federal one. Not that they need it with polls for five months showing Abbott is gone first chance voters get.

I am not a "typical Green" as you perceive them. Their environmental and humane stance keeps me voting for them as there is nothing better on offer. I would dearly love to see a moderate government - whether it be Liberal or Labor - but that's not happening.

As far as having "nothing as usual" goes - all I can say to that is...pot kettle black.

I thought Troy Buswell was the sniffing politician. Isn't he a Liberal?
