Unlike some conservatives, ethics and equality does come into the mix when deciding voting intention.

And no, it is not my main reason for supporting Greens. My main reason are the four pillars of the Greens : Social Justice, Ecological Sustainability, Peace & Non-Violence, Grassroots Democracy.

May I be the first to congratulate the Greens for their success in their hard fought and long run battle to  join the Democrats and One Nation on the path to political obscurity. They have shown an unrelenting determination to achieve their goals and I hope they never forget how hard they had to work to achieve them.

Greens lost considerable support in Tasmania (-8.1% swing) but had modest gains in South Australia (+0.4%).

Greens need to drop some of their more wild-eyed stuff like lowering the voting age to 16 and their never-ending support of and addiction to 'women's issues' - which latter, like Labor, they think has nothing to do with men's issues other than that men need to wake up.  Apparently being done out of a livelihood and many other things to suit some emotion-based ideology is nothing to be considered.

Why would they do that?  They need the ignorant and inexperienced to vote for them...  hence the aim at lowering the voting age.  :D :D :D

IM just waiting for freedriver to come in and explain how the continued drop in greens vote is any different with the long history of other third parties who come... and go.

Greens are slowly 'leaving the building'.  only a fool denies it.
