Title: libs turn with the corruption scandals
Post by John Smith on Mar 31st, 2014 at 10:54pm
The ICAC enquiry seems to be getting more and more interesting every day. It seems that labors had its turn and now its the libs turn

First Sinidosis, now  Nick Di Girolamo .. I'm thinking its not going to end here

Also on Monday, an ex-chief financial officer for AWH told the inquiry he was invited to attend just one board meeting and that chief executive and Liberal fundraiser Nick Di Girolamo occasionally dictated his reports.......
When Mr Chadban approached Mr Di Girolamo, his diary suggests, he was told the company "(had) always, will always obtain funding from Sydney Water".....

"The CFO reports on occasion were dictated to me by Nick Di Girolamo."

Mr Chadban said at one stage AWH was unable to pay superannuation and tax debts.

Yet in April 2009, Mr Di Girolamo told him to start sending payments to a company called EightByFive.

Mr Chadban was told the money was for PR services but it has been alleged EightByFive was actually a Liberal-linked slush fund.

He said he never saw any work produced by EightByFive

the libs do like their slush funds ....

I'm sure people will still vote for them.

Some vote the same way no matter what the morals, they are just rusted on aren't they John?

Terrible business I know. You did give me a laugh this afternoon with this...

So the Boer thinks corruption is funny? Well, it takes all sorts to make a world.

There is illegal activity going on in all walks of society, politics, big business, unions, banking, the legal profession, you name it.

I think you'll find that Giralmo is part of the Sydney "mafia" and that not his Lib connection is what could get him in trouble.
Sinodinos is so far corruption free or don't you read?

The ICAC Chairman apparently said it was unlikely any corruption finding would be made against Sinodinos.

Yes, it seems that Sinodinos is guilty of stupidity rather than corruption.

I find your assertion of impartiality quite hilarious actually.

Given the Liberals' obsession with chasing Gillard over her acting to incorporate a company that was later alleged to be a slush fund, it's only fair that we chase the Liberals just as long and just as hard over this EightByFive. Indeed, given that the Liberals seem to be more intimately involved, no quarter should be given until we know the full facts regarding this "company" - its financial records, who the directors are, who incorporated it, everything.

To paraphrase Shakespeare - something is rotten in the state of New South Wales.

The Liberals at first didn't touch that...  then did very little about it....  the Victorian police have and still are pursuing it.  No doubt the Royal Commission will also touch on it.  You have a bad memory when it come to your political rivals Bam...  clearly you've proven they are.  BTW the slush fund is not an allegation the words came from Julia's mouth.
