NSW ex-premier Nathan Rees says he was lobbied by Eddie Obeid about Australian Water Holdings
http://www.abc.net.au/news/2014-04-02/ex-nsw-premier-nathan-rees-says-he-was-lobbied-by-eddie-obeid/5362884 ========================================= Don't rush to judge Sinodinos: Turnbull Senator Sinodinos also repeatedly said he couldn't longer recall several details relating to his time on the board of AWH from 2008 until he left for parliament in 2011. http://www.theaustralian.com.au/news/latest-news/dont-rush-to-judge-sinodinos-turnbull/story-fn3dxiwe-1226874177941 ========================================= In short - Q. How can you tell when a Politician is lying? A. When their lips move! Q. What is MORE UNBELIEVABLE, than a Politician telling a lie? A. The majority of what they don’t say! I look forward to a "balanced review" of Politicians doing both Right & Wrong. Personally, I suspect there may be a few more entries on the "doing Wrong" side of the ledger! |

If Sinodinos can't remember all those allegations thrown at him, being paid such huge salaries, he is either a blatant liar, or so incompetent that he should never have been placed in the position of Assistant Treasurer. What is really galling, is, that the opposition is also reluctant to force Sinodinos to resign from parliament completely, because he was involved with Eddie Obeid, who was a Labour power broker. What a sad affair, when Australia is governed or manipulated by people like Obeid. |

Not much talent or ethics in the current lot of politicians is there.....The system makes politicians adversarial towards each other which in turn leads to the public either becoming cynical or picking sides and perpetuating the division in society of us and them.....Good policy comes second to vested interest and the quest to gain or retain power by people with little talent and giant egos.....The way politicians act reflects on all of us poorly as a society that would tolerate such crap!!!
