Title: WA election - Labor leapfrogs a convicted criminal
Post by True Blue... on Apr 4th, 2014 at 7:03pm

Quote:
Labor has gone on the defensive over a last-minute campaign to undermine the credibility of its lead senate candidate in Western Australia.

Joe Bullock, the secretary of the conservative Shop Distributive and Allied Employees Association, was leapfrogged over sitting Labor Senator Louise Pratt for the top spot on the ticket for the WA Senate election re-run this Saturday.

This week has seen media reports of Mr Bullock's 1996 conviction for assault, his record of voting for the Liberal party and a 2013 speech in which he railed against the dangers of Labor following 'every weird leftie trend'.

its hardly surprising with these Labor Maggots putting forward Union scum with criminal records..

leapfrogging decent candidates with rsoles and the scum of the earth...

only other scum would vote for Labor because that's what you are supporting.. scum ..  >:(

- Craig Thomson: convicted is misusing union funds
- Eddie Obeid: where to begin???
- Joe Tripodi: same boat as Obeid, but not quite as bad.

Represented the LIBERALS for 30 years with criminal convictions for assault and battery.

The difference?

Wilson Tuckey represented the LIBERALS for 30 years with his criminal convictions being BEFORE his parliamentary career.

Most (if not all) the others named in this thread were convicted of various offences AFTER being elected.

so are you saying labor MPs only turned crooked after they were elected...........

or was it because thats when they were finally caught..

Jackson took bribes from prisoners whilst he was  minister for Corrective Services for  NSW....

he signed get out of jail early card for money..

either way... dont forget these are only the ones that got long JAIL TIME>.. there are many others with fines.. and good behaviour bonds...

how much time did TUCKEY do?

its news to me.
