its not just the flipping problem now. Its posts appearing out of sequence all over the place.

Not my own, as on having to 'bump', but where one poster has quoted another and I have gone back to check other posts around the quoted post only to find that post missing.

Verrrrry strange....

If a person Modifies their post the 'posted date' is changed to the 'modified date'.
