They would have been a dream match-up.

This fellow's 40 now, and retired, but in his day he was a once-in-a-lifetime phenomenon. He was a Jack-in-the-box who wouldn't stay still long enough to be hit. He even beat the crap out of the Negroes they put up against him.

Since Mike Tyson retired does anyone know who the world champ is? Klitschko? It's all gone very quiet.

And then that horse's arse Bill Mordey bought the rights to televised world boxing many years ago ~ there are no matches to see unless you subscribe to Pay TV ~ and even then they bill you extra.

A cocky arsehole ~ bloody great fighter, also a bludger who failed to reach heights he had the talent to attain.....and a petty crim.

I would have loved to see him fight Mundine ~ in the hope one would knock the other's head off!

I Liked Naseem.

Sure he was a showoff and played the man.
But he was good.
I think he mainly fought in England, as the competition was weaker there. So he was well managed too, which is a HUGE benefit

certainly a great entertainer..

I watched a few of his fights on Austar when we first put in on...

(and Tyson fights)

but after 12 months or so they started chopping up austar channels so that you had to pay extra for everything..

to make it better for us of course... ::)

and they continued to do so year after year.. grouping different channels so that they put each of your favourite channels in different sections so that you had to buy the lot..

then they started taking things out... we used to get two Latest Release movie channels but then they cut it back to one... to make it better for us they said..

I told them to cancel my subscription... >:(

I never had Pay TV, but my brother did. Within 6 months he cancelled it. Every time a world boxing match came up, Foxtel or Optus (or whatever it was) had the damned hide to charge quite a bit extra just to see the match.
