I've been using a paid-for app. ('SpyHunter4 ~ Malware Security Suite') for a year now. It's been good, and now they've asked me to renew it, but the form looks dodgy.

I'll take this opportunity to download a FREE spyware app. but there's one problem ~ my TrendMicro anti-virus says that 'SuperAntiSpyware' and 'Malwarebytes Anti-Malware' are incompatible to be run with TrendMicro.

So that leaves me with what?

TrendMicro anti-virus is pretty hopeless. That was paid for too. It doesn't seem to catch anything.

I have used SUPERAntiSpyware free edition for a few years and have always found it good.  There might be better around now though.

I bought McAffee and Norton years ago and found them both to be terrible, so I won't pay for another one.  Avast Antivirus is good and free.  I hear Kapersky is very good too, but it isn't free.
