Clive is starting to lose weight - possibly because he's got a challenge for the first time in years. It looks like he's beginning to understand how Aussie politics really work and he's adapting quickly. Yes he's made a few stuff ups, but he's relatively new to the crap that goes on behind the scenes. He's a billionaire, so he's obviously bright.
It will be interesting to see how far he pushes Abbott who really doesn't want to go to a DD regardless of the media claims that he does. If anyone heard the interview on 2GB where Abbott allegedly agrees to a DD - then they'll know that the last thing he really wants to do is have another election until his term is up. These fighting words were pushed into Abbott against his will by an over zealous broadcaster. Abbott knows he doesn't stand a good chance of being re-elected. |
