Earlier this week, the Prime Minister’s office said Mr Abbott would only participate in part of the ride due to the MH17 disaster and the need to be able to receive security briefings at short notice.

The Dutch government has issued a brief statement announcing Mr Abbott will visit The Hague on Monday to meet the prime minister and sign a condolence book.

How many is a few time ... and besides selling out Australian agriculture, embarrassing Australia overseas, and now crawling over the dead for photo ops, what has abbott got to show for all these tax payer funded holidays.

Is it because abbott's polling doesn't drop so significantly when he is overseas as to when as he is in Australia?
