It's a good idea.
Australia does have some responsibility to the people in Iraq after helping to destroy the country in 2 wars. |

Probably waiting for some innocent and unarmed freight crew to be blown to bits..... need an excuse... I'd do it now... cluster bombs on the Jihad Highway. Let's be honest.. any self-respecting civilian would get as far away as possible..... you'd hit 99% jihadists or supporters. |

We could air drop in a platoon of Ozpolitic volunteer muslim hating extremists to lead the fight. Don't know how they would go with mattresses strapped to their backs. |

Australia has never started or finished anything on the international stage apart from a brief interlude from Gough Whhitlam government which opened a door into China.
Australia has always blindly followed the leader. First UK. Now USA. "All the way with LBJ". |

Laugh, do you have a problem with Australia doing food drops to a minority of unarmed civilians who are surrounded on a barren mountain and being threatened with annihilation by Sunni Muslim fanatics?

Its not credible. Abbott is posing. Aircraft would have to fly low for drops and exposed to AA fire and Manpads. How about hairdrops instead. They could float down thousands of finest export grade map of Tassie Australian merkins. |

Just love the reports coming through of the U.S. Air Force smoking the convoys, waiting to obliterate the men women and children stranded on that crappy mountain.
Smoke 'em U.S.! Blow their sorry arses back into Syria! |

I agree - the sooner they get B52s doing plenty of carpet bombing the better. Blow those ISIS devils to hell. |

Obama is too weak to use B52s. That's the only way to deal with this ISIS scum - the worst cancer we've seen in the world since Hitler. |

Why isn't the US dropping crates of M-16s, AKs so they can use captured ammunition, and a million or so Claymores (front towards enemy)?
