It's not a rescue - it's a search for wreckage that may provide clues as to what happened and a search for bodies so people have the chance to lay lived ones to rest.

Yes, it would be nice to know where the plane came down.

However from the depth of water and time in the water, in that search area, nobody is coming home!

Not true. Remains were found on the Titanic when it was discovered.

Titanic is not as deep down, was not made out of thin skin aluminium, and didn't make impact at over 470Kts.
