Ebola scare on the Gold Coast: Seriously ill man rushed to hospital two days after returning from Africa

A severely ill man has been rushed to a Gold Coast hospital this morning amid fears he has been affected by the suspected Ebola virus after he returned from Africa two days ago.

Paramedics were instructed to wear protective clothing before they transported the man to Gold Coast University Hospital.

The man has just returned from The Congos where the largest Ebola outbreak in history is currently plaguing Africa, the Gold Coast Bulletin reports.A hospital spokeswoman said they were preparing for an incoming patient who will be 'isolated and assessed'.

Abbott has once again, shown how weak he and his mob is on border protection.

It is not yet known whether the man is carrying the Ebola virus.

Bit like their economic illiteracy.

Abbott has been extremely lax with border protection by air while waging a witch hunt on refugees coming by boat.

Who knows if this person has fake or real paperwork. It could be an IS attack yet abbott wouldn't know.

58,000 illegal immigrants in Australia have arrived by plane

Your argument makes no sense
I'm sure there are many people that have just seen birds on telly called Polly and call their birds (rightly or wrongly)  Poly. Once they call their bird Poly, guess what, that's its name ... Not Pollyanna and not Polly, but Poly... that doesn't automatically make it short for Polyethylene and your attempts to make it so show a lack of education on your part.

not so easy or it would have burned out by now.  the problem is TRAVEL.  ban all travel into and out of the regions and within and it will be gone in two weeks.  Easier said than done however.

The issue then its what do you do with your own citizens in and out of the area.  Potentially, you are trapping them, denying them of medical care.    Plus if its not international blanket ban, then the ban would be useless.  One can always travel to England first, and then transfer to Australia on a different airline, and enter under radar.  However, if you do proper screening of the source country, it would be easier to control.

There are no direct flights to Congo from Australia. The only direct flights to Africa go to South Africa, not West Africa.   ;D ;D ;D :D :D :D ;D ;D ;D

Then the problem is even worse.  How are we going to ban travel from that area then if South African still puts them on to the plane?  Unless we ban all possible connecting route.   That is a bottomless pit.

You funny  ;D ;D ;D ;D

Are you saying that Polly and Poly sound different so when they talk to their bird it actually matters to the bird or even a person listening to the name of the bird, or are you say that the bird owner writes to the bird and uses the uneducated spelling?

If you are writing the is the name of a bird, it has two l's, if it is a chemical compound it has one. But since the world's IQ has been going in reverse tha last few decades, I suppose not being able to spell or comprehend english at a primary scholl level is par for the course.

Despite the fact that experts who have been studying climate all their professional lives say otherwise.  Frankly I don't know anyone who wanted to do the right thing would attempt to persuade the world in relation to something as incredibly serious as this (where if you were wrong the result would be catastrophe for humanity and all other life on earth) that their opinion (and what is that after all, the opinion of a writer, an accountant?) is superior to the opinion of the experts who spend their lives studying the stuff.  I ask you, is there anything more criminal. I'm sorry but if you truly believe that there is a judaic christian God you will be judged harshly for that.

I don't fear the ebola virus getting to this country because I'm confident that if there's any sign of that big bad virus crossing our boarders BigOl64 will be there to shoot it with his gun.

you need to remember that ebola is caused by global warming.  so is cancer.
Ive told you often enough before, you really do need to stop reading those Rupert Murdoch sensationalist GW denial sites (have they sold you land under the harbor bridge yet - I bet they have) and read some of the respected intelligent scientifically based sites.  Really, its important. Otherwise how are you ever going to learn.

observation trumps hypothesis every time.  the planet isn't warming.  climate isn't changing catastrophically nor are there any indicators to suggest it will.

I'm sure, Frogs when they are being boiled say the same things...    ;D ;D :D :D ;D ;D
