Small suburban Sydney money transfer business suspended over fears it could finance terrorism

A small suburban money transfer business in Sydney's west has been suspended from trading amid concerns it could be used to funnel funds to terrorists in the Middle East.

The nation's financial intelligence unit, Austrac, today announced it had suspended the registration of Lakemba-based remittance provider Bisotel Rieh.

Unfair targeting, no doubt. Australian Muslims have nuffin' to do wiv nuffin' in the ME. Anyone suggesting otherwise is persecuting them.

It could be targeting, the article saying it could be used, not that it is used.
