do you actually ask someone what church if any they belong too before speaking to them??..

Howard was also close to Exclusive Brethren and who knows what they got up too? As long as they voted for him Howard didn’t ask questions!

Howard and Costello (among other Liberals) attended Hillsong services and made no secret of their links to this church. That doesn't mean though that these Liberals knew what other members of this church were up to. I don't believe in guilt by association, unlike some of the rightards on the forum.

It was in the news and the media a while ago, and it had plenty of coverage. Your personal ignorance is not evidence that it didn't happen. You can call it "sinister" if you like, but that's your interpretation, not mine.

It also doesn't mean they curry the favour of Liberals only. Some Labor politicians have also been associated with this church, such as Bob Carr.
