Title: Bishop secures access to MH17 site Post by Armchair_Politician on Oct 18th, 2014 at 6:30am
FOREIGN Minister Julie Bishop has personally taken Russian President Vladimir Putin to task over the shooting down of Flight MH17.
At the Asian-Europe Meeting in Italy yesterday, Ms Bishop spoke to Mr Putin for more than 20 minutes, during which she won a guarantee from him to allow crash investigators another visit to the Ukraine crash site before winter sets in. Mr Putin said Russia would co-operate with investigators. “I approached Mr Putin and had a detailed and lengthy discussion,” Ms Bishop told The Saturday Telegraph late last night from Milan. “I raised my concerns about MH17 and the fact our teams had not had access. I sought his co-operation in using Russian influence over the Rebels. “His demeanour was warm and he was engaging throughout and he responded constructively.” Ms Bishop and the Russian leader also discussed the threat of Islamic State, and the upcoming G2O Summit in Brisbane, where Prime Minster Tony Abbott has promised to “shirtfront” him over MH17. Ms Bishop said she had bluntly spelled out Australia’s frustration at what it sees as Moscow’s hampering of the Dutch-led probe into the shooting down of the Malaysian airliner over eastern Ukraine in July, in which 38 Australians died. “Russia has not been as co-operative as we would have expected,” she said. “They even took action in the UN Security Council seeking to undermine the impartiality and independence of the investigation. Ms Bishop’s intervention came as Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte scolded Mr Putin for his failure to rein in the pro-Moscow rebels accused of restricting access to the crash site, which has never been properly secured. Mr Abbott has vowed to tackle Mr Putin over the incident when the two leaders meet at the G20 summit on November 15 and 16. His remarks sparked a bitter attack by Russia’s state-owned media. http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/news/nsw/foreign-minister-julie-bishop-secures-guarantee-from-russian-president-vladimir-putin-to-allow-investigators-to-visit-mh17-crash-site-again/story-fni0cx12-1227094454333 |

Bishop secures access to MH17 site
So the Ukranian military have agreed to stop firing on the crash site investigators? Very good! What's she looking for? The black box is with the Dutch. The Russian rebels ensured that the bodies were treated with respect. The evidence has been collected by independent bodies. Maybe she's going to do a plant with Putin's name on it?????? I wonder if she will call for an investigation into the mass graves that were found near the crash site. |

Now Now all. I am sure Mr Putin listened very carefully to Ms Bishop and took in all she said. Then he shirtfronted her and told her to f off back to tinpot land. Why would one of the world's leaders listen to a childless, living in sin, prossie boot wearing bint from Australia?

Well, that's brilliant. Now all she has to do is get by the warring factions and random groups of shooters there... should be a breeze.....
Did she shirt-front him? The concept of such a clinch boggles the mind..... |

Bishop is just another lying Lib, trying to out do Tony's shirtfronting bravado.
Putin has said he has no control over the separatists and how the hell can he guarantee security in another country? It's like Australia saying to America they can guarantee access to New Zealand. I'd have to see him saying it before I believe it, these things are always said 'behind closed doors'......sure he said that Julie pants on fire. A woman that went on Q&A and couldn't answer questions. She told him nothing. He had a warm demeanour.....that bastard! Shorten, Abbott and Bishop are light weights when it comes to discussing foreign affairs with leaders outside of their circle. |

At least they didn't follow Rudd's lead and call the Chinese "rat f*ckers". Besides, numerous other world leaders would strongly disagree with your assessment of Abbott and Bishop. All leaders involved in the MH17 tragedy have praised Abbott and Bishop. |

Russia has not been as co-operative as we would have expected,” she said.
“They even took action in the UN Security Council seeking to undermine the impartiality and independence of the investigation. Bishop needs to produce the records of that or add it her love of deceit she gave at the UN. Bishop needs to produce the records of that or the voter will add it their list of Bishop deceit. |

Bishop secures access to MH17 site
Did she hang her handbag at the site to reserve it or just insult an international leader for no reason except to maybe make moving forward more difficult. |

Bishop has already proven she a Liar like Abbott, and did so to the UN, yet she believes Australians are fools needing her care, and lapping up every word she utter!

The proposition that Bishop secured access to part of The Ukraine is absurd. It implies that Putin was preventing access (and where is the evidence for that) and all it took for him to suddenly back flip and allow access was a 20 minute meeting with some light weight bimbo from Australia.
Yeah. Bishop's Australia would have Putin's Russia trembling. Wake up, AP. |

Miss Bishop revealed that she had taken her Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov to task 'I implored him to use Russian influence over the separatists in eastern Ukraine to enable our investigators to have access to the crash site.'
Miss Bishop acknowledged Lavrov had flat-batted her complaints, "He said it was a matter for Ukraine", as the plane crash occurred in Ukrainian sovereignty. Miss Bishop brilliantly retorted with, 'it crashed in Russian sovereignty not Ukranian, get to know your own country ya rock ape!' An initial report by Dutch investigators issued last month found that the jet was hit by multiple 'high-energy' objects but did not apportion blame. |

Is there anybody who cannot see through this babble?
