At least Abbott is putting forward his own policies, good or bad. Shorten is so stupid he hasn't got a single one and can't say anything without first checking with his superiors, as we saw in his "I agree with my PM" interview.

I have noticed that as well. Nothing short of a royal commission will get to the bottom of their weird behaviour. I suggest an open-ended RC with no limitations placed on the terms of reference.
