After watching Gandalf and Brian insist over many pages that the Malaysian Muslims do not really mean it when they say they support the death penalty for apostasy, I discovered that one state in Malaysia (which is dominated by Muslims) had actually passed the death penalty for apostasy into law, and was only stopped by the federal constitution they had inherited from Britain.

The state legislature passed the law - reflecting the locals' support. The federal constitution - inherited from Britain, ie not devised by the locals - stood in the way. What does that tell you about the local SUPPORT for the death penalty for apostasy? It tells me it's strong. It also tells me that it is the Britannic inheritance that prevented the Malays to make their support into binding law. |

You, Wally, are a perfect example of the sort of Muslim I would summarily have deported from Australia as a hostile alien whose only reason for remaining in this country is for its economic benefits. Abbott deciding on increasing the Muslim refugee intake by 7000 a year is incontrovertible proof that although he is an economic rightwinger ~ his social policies even outstrip that of the Gillard-Rudd Soviet Socialist regime.
I saw Abbott on the TV in Iraq yesterday telling the troops that their efforts against ISIS is helping to protect Australians from terrorism at home. What utter delusional nonsense. What farsical idiocy. The only effect western troops over there have on our domestic situation is to stir up paranoid animosities in our own Muslim ghettoes against us. |

Which in no way negates the fact that it is a hell of a lot easier to support drastic laws in principle when you know it is purely symbolic and will have precisely zero impact. That goes for enacting laws that you know will never be used just the same as it goes for answering "yes" to a consequence-free survey question.

That must be it. They are stuck inside your infinite loop of circular reasoning. The majority of Malaysian Muslims support the death penalty for apostasy. Fortunately Malaysia is a democracy and there are enough non-Muslims in Malaysia to water them down to a minority of the total population. Gandalf, Brian, HB et al will desperately cling to any alternative explanation (eg they didn't really mean it, only a poll conducted within the last 5 minutes counts etc), other than the obvious. Malaysia does have plenty of backwards laws, thanks to Islam. |

Since then the "dries" as Mrs.Thatcher referred to them have come to predominate, while the "wets", the real Liberals have lost control of their party. |

In my personal view? ~ Correct. Same with those who hold dual citizenship. Being a Muslim, their loyalties are forever embedded with the global Islam of their shia or sunni affiliations. In a street poll in Sydney's Muslim ghetto of Lakemba, the respondents all replied that sharia law is 'God's law' and therefore trumps any laws made in Canberra. That pretty much says where their primary loyalties lie. Islam is foreign to western sensibilities and its cultural heritage. What are they calling their Australian-born kids? Mohammad ... Aisha ... The allies had every right to invade Turkey.
Turkey shelled Russian ports under the guise of a neutral flag, this caused the allies to declare war on the muslims who had broken their treaty in true islamic fashion. Prior to turkey officially entering the first world war August 1914 two German warships the Goeben and the Breslau were officially offered to (and accepted by) the Turks, both ships then flew the Turkish flag. They were given Turkish names. The ships were renamed Midilli and Yavûz Sultân Selîm, respectively. (the Goeben officially became the Yavuz Sultan Selim) After raising the Turkish flag they formally became a part of the Turkish navy. On the 28-29th of September the German warships under the Turkish flag shelled Odessa, Sebastopol and Novorossiisk. The Russian ports and navigation incurred a serious damage. On the 30th of October the ambassadors of Russia, Great Britain and France in Constantinopol handed a 12-hour ultimatum over to the Turkish government demanding to open the straights and stop naval raids. The ultimatum stayed unanswered – the next day Turkey entered the war on the side of Germany and Austria-Hungary. So there we have it muslims doing what muslims do best, slaughtering people under the guise of a neutral flag, breaking their truce as a supposed neutral country, |
