They are having the opposite effect of their intent. They are causing more extremism as Muslims react to the acts of hate against them.

But the same effect is going both ways...

Do we genuinely have governments in the West who are seeking war with Islam?  I rather predicted that the two major population groups - the Islamics and the non-Islamic Asians, would be the protagonists in the first of the coming wars.

The problem is the relative lack of industrialisation by Islamics generally, and thus the lesser level of conflict over markets etc, which means less tension - apart from the simple fact that many Islamics seek to push the Asians out of 'their countries' and in some cases persecute them mildly.

I only read the ones ridiculing Christians and conservatives. These were "progressive" editions. Criticising Islam is not "progressive".
