Jones, the man who was once the libs talking billboard, the man who used to think the libs could do no wrong, is now being sued by Newman and CO. ... it couldn't happen to a nicer guy

maybe they could all find their own chaff bags

Sydney radio broadcaster Alan Jones is being sued for defamation by Queensland Premier Campbell Newman and Deputy Premier Jeff Seeney.

Papers for the lawsuit have been lodged in the Supreme Court in Brisbane.

Jones confirmed the court action while speaking on Brisbane radio 4BC.

"I have been waiting to hear from Campbell Newman for a long time - goodness knows how many times I've communicated with him on a range of issues and those communications have been unanswered," he said.

"So imagine my surprise yesterday when I did receive correspondence running to 35 pages from him and his sidekick, Jeff Seeney

Jones has always been consistent on CSG and the impact of the mining industry on farming, and this is his main beef with Newman. Put it down to the "stopped clock" principle if you like.

this was in relation to a coal mine, not CSG

I don't know about anybody else but even though I am enjoying the train wreck which is the LNP at the moment I am genuinely concerned as to where we are heading. They have to get rid of the monkey no matter the cost electorally.
