Title: McNabb keeps on jabbing
Post by MOTR on Jan 23rd, 2015 at 1:02pm
It looks like the the caller who described the Prime Minister as the "world's worst salesman", doesn't believe he's done enough damage.

His come back on radio for a second go at Tony. McNabb's predicting an annihilation of the Liberal party if they don't replace Tony before the next election. Unlike Pickering, the other Liberal supporter who has taken to publicly flogging Tony, McNabb's thinks Julie Bishop is ready for the top position.

Abbott needs to be careful here. Bagging Tony has suddenly becoming a national pastime, and it won't be long before it will be just accepted knowledge that he is unelectable.

I wonder how McNabb's Liberal connections on Facebook are feeling. Won't be long before the media start asking them whether they support the stance taken by McNabb.

It certainly sounds like he has some inside information. Whether that be Liberal Party polling or just personal views.

It would seem McNabb has a bit of form with this sort of thing.

Here's an interesting comment made in response to two other comments posted in response to a VEXNEWS article back in 2012.

Quote:
The last two posts – are they by Mr Nasty Lib of Gembrook/La Trobe, one Andrew McNabb who was dumb enough to slag off Baillieu on 3AW.

It would seem McNabb has some history as a bomb thrower. The question is for who?

Here's the article.

Challenging Abbott part of the plan? It was talkback radio gold yesterday morning when “Andrew”, a card-carrying Liberal, had it out with Prime Minister Tony Abbott, telling him he was “the world’s worst salesman” on Neil Mitchell’s program on 3AW. The producers got him back today, where he revealed his full name was Andrew McNabb and that he “did not know it would cause such a stir”. Our tipster is less surprised, however:

“You may want to dig further in regard to yesterday’s 3AW caller ‘Andrew’, who slapped the PM. Although the PM thought him to be a Labor plant, he was identified on 3AW today as Andrew McNabb and yes, a proud card-carrying Liberal. McNabb attempted preselection for La Trobe but was ultimately beaten by former MP Jason ‘modified orgasms‘ Wood. Wood is a favourite with the blue-rinse old ladies in the party, but has proved time and time again to be a dud. One local Lib described him as not much better than a part-time councillor. With La Trobe likely to fall to Labor in the next election, McNabb’s attack yesterday was more about showing he has ‘balls’ and proving to the party they made a huge mistake in support of Wood. Although the Libs don’t normally turn on sitting members, this could be different. If Abbott and Hockey go in favour of Bishop and Turnbull (as per McNabb’s on-air predication) the party may take the opportunity to jettison dead ‘Wood’, so to speak.”

I was starting to see Greg Hunt's hand in this, but maybe McNabb is pushing his own personal agenda.

Abbott's got to be in a fair degree of trouble, if destabilising his leadership is the way you go about swooning the members.

the even more distrubing thing is that despite all this guys rants against abbott and how he is no good for the country, he last night on TV said that if Abbott were still PM come next election, of course he'd vote for him :D :D

are all conservatives as stupid as this bloke? :D :D :D ;D

He has no problem with Abbott's agenda, he just doesn't believe he has the negotiating skills to get it through the senate, or the salesmanship to win a majority at the next election.
