Obama: ‘Deploying All Assets’ to Rescue American Woman Held by ISIS:

President Barack Obama told the Today Show the United States is working to release a 26-year-old American woman from the Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL). The terrorists captured the woman on August 30.

“We’re deploying all assets that we can, working with all the coalition allies that we can to identify their locations,” he said. “We’re in very close contact with her family, trying to keep them updated. Obviously, this is something that is heartbreaking for families. And our obligation is to make sure that we do anything we can to try to make sure that any American citizen is rescued from this situation.”

I can't believe the President of the US just alerted the enemy of a rescue mission on the way, when it is critical for the success of the mission, for those who are involved, and for the safety of hostages, in doing this stealthy and in utmost secrecy. Had Obama been the President during World War II, the allies would have lost even before firing their first salvo. This President is suffering from a wagging tongue syndrome or could it be treason?. How many times had he exposed missions in the past, which caused rescue mission failure?

On the other hand, if he had said nothing about a rescue attempt, the neo-cons, Fox, Rush etc would have had a massive spray at him about not doing anything.

I would say politically this is exactly the time to reveal that ISIS have a US woman captive, the US is going to give massive amounts of aid to those countries battling ISIS and Obama is not stupid enough to put US boots on the ground in this war which is exactly what ISIS want, if they can draw the West in then it becomes an idealogical rallying battle cry for the fanatics.

The barbarity displayed by ISIS in the execution by the burning of that Jordanian pilot merely reinforces the opinion, worldwide, that these people do not abide by any code of humanity.

If you follow this link, you will find a celebrated act of modern 'chivalry' that could have well meant the execution of he who displayed it.

It is my contention that the supporters and adherents of modern fanatical Islam display no such mercy or possible acts of chivalry, their sole purpose is to either eradicate or enslave all those who do not adhere to their own warped interpretation of the words of the 'Prophet'.

Muslims kill more Muslims than anyone else. And they've done it again in spectacular fashion.

Their hatred of their fellow co-coreligionists on issues of different interpretations of their own gospels and their universal hatred of anyone not of their faith virtually guarantees their non-acceptance by anyone else on the planet.

Will everyone else succumb to a universal hatred directed toward them while Islam remains divided and fanatic?

Or will we wait until someone arrives who will once again unite the Muslim world?

Or must we continue to object - and eventually crusade?

The fate of this US woman could be interesting - as far as retaliation goes. Ol' Obama would do well to watch the public reaction on this one.
