Title: Quran Author gets Chest contractions wrong. Post by Mohammed on Feb 11th, 2015 at 10:11pm
Muslims believe that the Qur'an contains a message from an all-powerful, all-knowing, infallible being. If this is true then it should not contain any errors, mistakes, or information that contradicts known facts about the universe. If even one error exists in the text of Islam's holy book then the claims of divine authorship and infallibility are not true. An objective evaluation of the Qur’an shows that it contains numerous scientific and historical errors and it reflects a pre-scientific, 7th century view of the natural world.
Chest Contracts with Altitude This verse says that your chest cavity gets smaller with higher altitude when in reality the opposite is true. Qur'an 6:125 "Those whom allah (in His plan) willeth to guide,- He openeth their breast to Islam; those whom He willeth to leave straying,- he maketh their breast close and constricted, as if they had to climb up to the skies: thus doth allah (heap) the penalty on those who refuse to believe." The author slipped up obviously negating the quran as coming from a god that is infallible.. No surprises I guess since the quran was thought up after mohammeds lifetime by people that never actually met him. |

my we are desperate matty ;D
The verse is clearly metaphorical. It is a fact that when you climb high altitudes it *FEELS* like your chest is constricted. It is quite obvious to anyone who exercises some common sense that it is not trying to explain what literally happens to your chest when you reach high altitudes - merely what it feels like. |

Every muslim is a devout believer,so they have the blessings of the satanic allah: inbreeding, low I.Q., uneducated, mentally retarded, physically retarded, rapists, torturers, terrorists, mass murderers, the enemy of non muslims, the enemy of other muslims, etc. etc. The legacy of islam, allah, muhammad and the qur'an, is an evil malignancy in civilization. |

No worries matty ;D. I misunderstood when allah said through the human quran author (way after mohammeds death) : - "he maketh their breast close and constricted, as if they had to climb up to the skies" He really meant what you said and anyone that does not have muslim obvious commonsense is just plain stupid. Lucky we have you here to set us all straight on the qurans authors real meaning and commonsense May intelligence be upon you. |
