Sounds to me that the problems arise from some of the same problems they fled - poverty, unemployment, hopelessness... and a rising level of violence.

Crime  of the nature under discussion is the crime of the poor....

Case in point, nearby shopping centre, located in the middle of lower socio economic areas, pre African immigration was full of Abos scrounging smokes and money, brawling, getting blind drunk and doing what they do best, preying on white society. Post African immigration, Abos nowhere to be seen, Africans not bothering anyone in any way, shape or form, no public drinking and no preying on vulnerable white people. Where almost every visit I saw a number of  incidents now I havent seen one for years. Needs to be said however, domestic violence issues are above the norm with Africans but nowhere near the Abos, same with total crime rate and very few habitual criminals amongst the Africans whereas amongst the Abos being in and out of prison most of your life is the norm. Also I will add, lots of young Africans working in the service industries whereas Arabs consider it beneath them to work. Rather the Africans any day.
