Title: Pensioner Bonus Scheme Post by Neferti on May 19th, 2015 at 2:11pm
Has anybody heard about this?
I had an email yesterday from a lady I know who is in her 70s, a Kiwi who lives on the Gold Coast. She and her husband (also a Kiwi) only just applied for the Age Pension. Her main problem was that TONY ABBOTT cut them out of the bonus because they didn't apply for it by July 2014. So, I did a bit of research. This PBS was established in 1998 by John Howard for people who preferred to work longer than 65. It was stopped/ceased in 2009 by Krudd. However the Rudd Government gave an extended time to "register" as 28/2/2014. Some how the Centrelink site states that the "benefit" registration stops on 1 July 2014. So it is ALL Tony Abbott's fault? ;D Well done Centrelink. |
