Title: New Greek Cafe Chain
Post by Redneck on Jul 2nd, 2015 at 4:28pm
In the interests of helping the poor people of Greece

I am opening a new Greek Cafe Chain in Australia.

Staffed by all Lisas Greek Cousins out here on 457 visas initially with a view to sponsered permanent residency

PM me if interested in investing, I will pass on my Swiss Bank Account

A name for the chain is still being considered ....Niagra....Astoria

Might even reintroduce booths with juke box machines

Yours Sincerley
Con Neck

Good stuff.

No chokos here anymore. Can I invest in broad bean currency?

It's a critical question. The answer will affect whether or not I invest in this new venture.

I like Aristotle..very Greek..

“Of all the varieties of virtues, liberalism is the most beloved.”
― Aristotle

I think this would make a good slogan... ::) ::)

I think the idea is very worthy of you red.....although I am not sure how lisa will put up all these rellies to be honest...

she has an abundance of food for sure....but  the mansion would be under pressure I would think...

so maybe just settle for sending food parcels....lisa would be good at that I am sure she loves feeding the 5 thousand..

my choko scones would be well received I know...not too sure about pansis sponge cake...

Your choko scones are hard as rocks that's why they'd make the long journey to Greece.

On the other hand my sponges are as light and fluffy as a cloud puff, they'd simply float away at altitude.

There's crowd funding, I'll send them some Drachma to get them started with the new currency.

I thought we might open with a special on the menu that might attract some seniors

"Mixed Grill with a free chocolate malted milk shake."

so now the truth is coming out you dont like me scones.....after all the blue ribbons they have collected....do I smell jealousy pansi???>..

I do know your sponge got second one year but that was because there was only two entries...but still a second is a second...

I do believe red wants to start his c afe chain here in oz for when we get the influx of Greek refugees....mainly lisas rellies.... lisa is already making the Ouzo,

I might go and give her a hand.....

That was a standard in any Australian Greek cafe of the 50s -60s cods how old are you?

Pizza sounds more Italian to me

I was planning to take you for a ride on the Harley to the Paragon Cafe in Goulburn to have you check out the menu, perhaps to local Dominoes would suffice........ bloody  pizza????

Yes actually we still make something similar at home on occasions

I remember eating regularly at the Capitol Cafe in East Row Canberra in the 1960s with the child bride on Friday nights, sort of a weekly treat. It had the booths down one side if I recall correctly although not sure about juke box.
