Adam Goodes’ imaginary spear up for sale on eBay, generates $20,000 bid

AS far as sporting memorabilia goes, this is up there with the most elusive of all time. 
 
Prominent sporting and political identities continue to stake their positions over the Adam Goodes booing scandal, but it has taken this long for someone to try to cash in.

Now the imaginary spear tossed by Sydney Swans champion Adam Goodes in his SCG “war dance” has attracted bids of $20,000 in an eBay frenzy.

While the post has since been taken down, it wasn’t until scores of people bid up the invisible icon.

The seller claimed only “serious bids” would be considered, given the spear’s power and capability of “inciting racism towards the user, excessive booing and polarising national opinion”,

You must be referring to the people who ring up FiveAA etc. and defend the booing as non-racist.

For the life of me, I can't figure out why people would ring up a talkback radio show to defend booing that they haven't done, and only exists in the imaginations of others.
