No, I think it's going to be exceptionally difficult for Abbott to win the next election as PM. The Coalition could wipe the floor with Shorten if Morrison was PM, Bishop was DPM and FM, while Turnbull was Treasurer. The ALP has nothing and no one to go up against that line-up and win.

As Maria said before (she finally got something right) the libs are just waiting for Abbott to clock up his two years so that he can get all of the entitlements due a former PM. Once he has that they'll remove him.

Gotta keep their snouts in the trough

So why don't your sorry pack of fools get rid of the clown!
Surely you cannot believe its a bad look for the libs to be knifing him? I f he had any credibility as a leader I would agree with you but we are talking about the worst PM  I have had the misfortune to endure.Morrison or Turnbull dont have the ticker to mount a challenge. Pathetic, with a capital P!

Have you started reading anything that's not in the Daily Terror or The Strine?

That is a tacit admission that you think he is a bad PM.

Morrison? If there's a Royal Commission into mistreatment of asylum seekers, Morrison won't last two months. Assuming you mean Julie Bishop - she also has a tainted past, her litigation tactics against asbestos victims were quite appalling. There's not an ounce of compassion in either of these people.

Turnbull's not a bad choice as Treasurer (though I suspect he prefers communications because he has experience in that field). Even so, he is stuffing up that portfolio with his NBN lite costing $29.5 billion $41 billion $56 billion ... imagine him as Treasurer with that performance. We would have the deficit out to $200 billion in two years or less. No thanks.

Scott Morrison is the new chosen one.

Although I'm not sure much will change when Abbott gets knifed/steps down for medical reasons.

IRD and groupies giving advice to Liberals now. I'm sure they'll listen.
