What utter crap. Society has developed through the sharing of ideas and the contact between peoples. More has been gained through the exchange of ideas and technologies than through xenophobia and war.

Just look at the difference between countries that were exposed to each others ideas versus remote locations not stimulated by the sharing of ideas.
