David Cameron put 'private part' in dead pig's mouth, shock biography claims

DAVID Cameron once put a "private part of his anatomy" into a dead pig's mouth during a bizarre initiation ritual, it has been claimed.

The shocking claims were made in a new biography, Call Me Dave
The Prime Minister carried out the act as a student a Oxford University, according to a claim made in a new biography.

The story was recounted to the authors by a contemporary of Mr Cameron who went on to become an MP.

He reportedly said the pig's head was resting on the lap of a member of the Piers Gaveston Society – a dining club at Oxford – while Cameron carried out the act.

He even claimed another member of the group has photographic evidence of the alleged act.

But the individual who is said to own the picture did not respond to approaches by the authors.

The shocking allegation features in Call Me Dave, a biography of Mr Cameron co-written by Tory peer Lord Ashcroft and the journalist Isabel Oakeshott.

Mr Ashcroft said: "Perhaps it is a case of mistaken identity. Yet it is an elaborate story for an otherwise credible figure to invent.

"Furthermore, there are a number of accounts of pigs' heads at debauched parties in Cameron's day."

The alleged act echoes the first episode of the drama series Black Mirror, in which the fictional Prime Minister has sex with a pig live on TV.

The book also claims he was part of a "dope smoking group" called the Flam Club at university, according to the Daily Mail.

James Delingpole, a friend of Mr Cameron's at Oxford, said they smoked cannabis together while listening to the rock band Supertramp.

He said: "My drug of choice was weed – and I smoked weed with Dave."

Mr Cameron studied Philosophy, Politics and Economics at Oxford's Brasenose College between and 1985 and 1988.

A Downing Street spokesman refused to comment when contacted by Express.co.uk.

Social media users have barely been able to contain their delight at claims in a new biography that British Prime Minister David Cameron put "a private part of his anatomy" into the mouth of a dead pig at an initiation ceremony while he was a student at Oxford University.

The allegation was published in Call Me Dave: The Unauthorised Biography and attributed to "a distinguished Oxford contemporary" who is himself an MP, co-authors Lord Michael Ashcroft and Isabel Oakeshott said.

The act was allegedly performed at an event hosted by the notorious Oxford dining club, the Piers Gaveston, named in honour of the supposed lover of King Edward II of England.

The secret society, which also claims actor Hugh Grant and the Mayor of London Boris Johnson among its former members, is known for its debauched parties, sexual excesses and bizarre entertainment.

Social media responded with an explosion of pork puns as the hashtag #piggate began trending overnight.

Ashcroft and Oakeshott claim they have tried to contact an individual who allegedly has photographic evidence of the act, but the person has refused to respond.

"My co-author Isabel Oakeshott and I initially assumed this was a joke. It was therefore a surprise when, some weeks later, the MP repeated the allegation," they wrote for Britain's Daily Mail, which began serialising the biography on Sunday night.

The MP repeated the claim a third time several months later, saying the pig's head "had been resting on the lap of a Piers Gaveston society member while Cameron performed the act", Ashcroft and Oakeshott wrote.

Downing Street has not responded to the claim.

Nicola Sturgeon, Scotland’s first minister, has said the student drugs and debauchery allegations about David Cameron in a new biography by Lord Ashcroft have “entertained the nation”. Downing Street has said it will not dignify the claims - which have generally prompted more amusement than outrage, at least on social media - with a response, although Tory sources have said that the most salacious allegation, involving a dead pig’s head, is “not true”. But Sturgeon and Labour’s Jon Trickett have both said Cameron should answer the charge that he knew about Ashcroft’s non-dom status earlier than he admitted ahead of the 2010 election.
The Lib Dems have rejected a call for the party to commit itself to unilateral disarmament by 579 votes to 447. The vote is a victory for the new leader, Tim Farron, who wanted delegates to back existing policy, which proposes a scaled-down nuclear deterrent.
George Osborne has sidestepped concerns over Downing Street’s growing proximity to Beijing, arguing that Britain should “run towards China” to help boost the UK economy.
Tom Watson, Labour’s deputy leader, has said Labour MPs should “show a little bit of respect” towards Jeremy Corbyn.

If Nicola Sturgeon is saying the Cameron allegations have “entertained the whole country” (see 5.08pm), the prime minister will at least be able to point to one area in which he is bringing the nations of the United Kingdom together.

Nicola Sturgeon’s intervention is rather shrewd, for at least three reasons. First, she presents herself as someone with a sense of humour. Second, she is subtly implying that David Cameron has become a laughing stock. And, third, she has put pressure on Cameron to clarify his position on the claim that he did not tell the truth about when he first learnt about Lord Ashcroft’s non-dom status. This is the one issue that Labour is also pursuing. See 12.44pm.

Nicola Sturgeon, Scotland’s first minister, has been commenting on the Ashcroft allegations. She did not know whether they were true or not, she said, but they did give us all some entertainment.

She said:

[Cameron] has entertained the whole country on a dreary Monday morning, so there is got to be something in that.

But she also says that Cameron has a duty to respond to the claim that he knew about Ashcroft’s non-dom status earlier than he previously admitted.

Sir Simon Hughes, the former Lib Dem MP, is winding up for those backing amendment one (ie, those in favour of a scaled-back nuclear deterrent). The current party policy was formed on the basis of evidence in the last parliament, he says. And it commits the party to work towards the elimination of nuclear weapons. And it commits Lib Dem MPs to voting against like-for-like Trident replacement.

Trident is a “sheathed weapon”, he says. That is better than having no weapon, he says.

Being in opposition should not be an excuse for casual policy making, he says.

She says the world is on the edge of removing some nuclear threats; for example, Iran scaled back its nuclear programme in response to international pressure.
