THERE is no “I” in team, as the saying goes. Likewise, there is not a single mention of the Liberal Party on the front page of Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull’s website. The word “Coalition” is also conspicuous by its complete absence. But another word appears more than 70 times on that front page alone: Malcolm. Clearly, the new Prime Minister wants to preserve his previous image as someone above party politics — even as he holds the top job in the land. And he also wants to build different teams, as his mini-summit this week with various business and union leaders demonstrated. its all about MALCOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM |

Thought Rupert would like Malcolm better after he bent over for him on the whole broadband thing.
No honour amongst thieves hey. |

Interesting article I did note the tele didn't put forward an argument for those that could afford to pay tax shouldn't while taking a swipe at the poor another point of interest was a very strong anti Turnbull flavour.

At the age of 20, Turncoat once boasted to a friend that by the time he was 40 he would become PM of Australia, when asked for which party he would run with, his response was "I don't care'
does that sound like a team player to you? :D :D :D :D :D :D |

Cool! that means he won't mind axing the grotesque Abbott policies and replacing them with ones of his choice. There could be a leftie hiding in there? Nah!!!!!! |

I can well believe this. I have no trust at all in Turnbull, he has set the Liberal Party back many years, and they can no longer hold themselves up as a united party. |

Yet he's is the PM of a coalition govenment. So nothing you wrote makes an ounce of sense. I think it's funny the conservatives going into meltdown over Turnbull, the Liberal party are NOT a Conservative party they are a mix of conservative and Liberal. In fact the only conservatives ever to be lead the party as PMs were Howard, Abbott and McMahon all the others were Liberals. It is funny to see the loony right attempt to rewrite history though. ::) My last point is how many of you will preference a coalition candidate lower than a Labor candidate? |

Aside from the mindless rant I've come to expect I was not having a go at you but at your seemingly lack of understanding about the party you claim to support. You didn't answer my question. Will you preference Labor above the coalition at the next election? Because if you don't your rants are nothing but piss and wind. Did you consider it backstabbing when Abbott beat Turnbull by one vote in the last leadership spill?

well there you go.. you dont read much do you just jump in say your little rant then pop out again.. I have said over and over what I will do..... have a read and you too will know the answer to your question. when Abbott won the leadership he made it very clear he was not happy with turnbulls policy change.. he even walked out of parliament house....turnbull saw it coming and it wasnt POLL driven... sorry mate you will have to do better than that comparison... this is shortarse gillard and shortarse and krudd all over again.. POLL driven.. sneaky underhand and not what I expect from an Australian govt.... of course we know by the silence that the left were not horrified by what went on...I was still am.. and find what the Libs did even worse.... and I am not backing down from it..this is not liberal policies...it is not the Liberal way of doing things.. at least it wasnt.. I dont need your approval I know you support your mob no matter how low they sink... me I am a bit more fussy...who represents me.. for now there isnt much to choose between shortarse and turncoat...I wouldnt trust either of them |

;D ;D ;D ;D of course it was poll driven ... Turncoats numbers were falling because of Utegate and Abbott took advantage of it |

Thanks for the slurs, I mistook you for someone that wanted to discuss politics rather than abuse those that question you. You seem to know everything yet your posts indicate the opposite.

Other interpretations are possible. Maybe the Liberals' brand is toxic, or maybe Turnbull doesn't want to tarnish his image by association. The Liberals are well known for concealing inconvenient associations, such as an almost complete absence of Abbott from the Canning by-election promotional material before Turnbull knifed him. |
