that weird lisa... are we really that impatient ???..thats pretty sad if so..I find people filling up the pages with long drawn out posts that usually I would think no one ever goes through.. most are replying to the last post on the thing anyway......but they have to put up a weeks worth....this does fill the pages up for no worthwhile  reason...

It also interferes with the continuity of a topic IMO.

But....it's easy enough to turn the page if you really want to.

yes I understand I do..

what is annoying is when you look at the menu and it tells you cods has just replied then you go in and its nowhere to be seen...

is this a new thing or has it always happened???...

No. It's all thanks due to this page flip delay issue.

It mucks up thread continuity.

Would be nice if it was fixed.

unfortunately it seems to be a problem that FD can't solve -

it's not his fault - I don't think anyone except a source code guru could solve it
& that would cost a lot of money.

That's what irks me.  I don't care about what I have posted.  The other thing which is irksome is that this matter has been raised a zillion times in Feedback for some years, and it has not been addressed.  I doubt FD has the capacity to sort it out.  Either that or he does not give a stuff.  The former is more likely.

  I think the content in ozpol is just so huge now, that trying to load is taking it's toll, becoming  heavier and more burden some..some posters here have 30- 40 thousand posts and there are a lot like that. I think it might come down to deleting a lot of content?

Anyone, like you, who knows my history will be aware I am a www numpty ~ but I am learning.  FD pays a host and the host offers a capacity for a price.  I reckon either the server has run out of capacity or FD is unwilling to pay for more.  In either case, there is a choice for FD and that involves cash.  More than two years ago, I offered to assist him in that regard.  The offer is still there anytime he wants to pick it up.
