Title: Turnball keeps the property ponzi scheme going
Post by Sir lastnail on Oct 20th, 2015 at 10:13pm
Of all of the banking recommendations by David Murray the only one that got knocked back was to stop self managed super funds from borrowing to buy assets such as property.

Yep the can gets kicked down the road once again for the property ponzi scheme ;)

Ya gotta to keep them house prices hyper-inflated at any cost ;)

What will they think of next?

Super is supposed to be a relatively low risk investment vehicle so the last thing you want is to speculate using borrowed money but that apparently is all ok now !!

It's cute that you think that multi-billion dollar super funds are buying house and units as investments.  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Watch out if those chinese super funds ever find out if that duplex that you rent ever comes up for sale, they might make you homeless.

Super is supposed to be variable risk. Higher risk at the start with risk decreasing as retirement approaches.

Given the historically good returns from housing, investing in same is not a bad idea.

But as soon as you borrow to buy assets you expose yourself to highly leveraged investments and if it goes against you it can wipe out any retirement benefits or worse still, leave you with a serious chunk of debt for your retirement !!

Some of us (ie Last Nail and multi nics)....have been sitting on forums, renting away and bagging property investing for a decade.

Mean time, a lot of us have built up a healthy property investment portfolio....one which has enabled us to both own our family homes outright AND negative gear certain types of  investment properties for particular current and future purposes.

That's funny because your posts are full of inconsistencies as exposed by some others here which leads me to believe that your claims don't match your rhetoric. Maybe you've just been parroting some book on property investment and you haven't quite understood what you have read ;)

All you've proven is that in your little world, owning one car outright means making it big time.

In my world..that also happens...if you're aged 18. After that, it's all about owning properties outright and using the equity in such properties to acquire more.

If you can't fathom that....all fine by me

Just make sure you pay this week's rent on time.

Only a low achiever like yourself would refuse to identify the car you drive when you spend half your life complaining about petrol cars.  It is a big and hugely obvious discrepancy in your narrative.

You are very inconsistent 'Maria.'  There you are berating someone about not identifying something as irrelevant as the type of car they drive but you do not see anything odd about the refusal of someone else to clarify obvious serious yet basic inconsistencies (or should that be 'discrepancies') about owning places outright, ten Sydney 'lots' all negatively geared and yet five of them are debt free, including two owned by 19 year olds, and another two owned by their toddlers ~ when that very someone spends more than half their life on the www boasting about how wealthy and successfull they are even as a 'stay at home Mum.'

You should get help for your stalking problem before it gets you arrested. Your stalking of Lisa is dead-set creepy. Watching how you typically misinterpret, fabricate and extend information about other people makes you look very suspicious indeed. No one doubts you are a life-long taxi-driver. You exude that creepy quality often.

A lot of people are successful. You apparently don't know any of them and are limited to driving them around for a fare.

'Anyway,' - when you see me delving into the internet to locate and check on any FaceBook and Linkedin account you may have, then you can call me a stalker.  Until then, if I see crap, I'll say so no matter who posts it, including yourself.  Solution is so easy ~ do not make unsustainable claims with holes riddled through them, and you'll never hear from me.

That is a lot of people's dream. But you are a stalker and cannot leave well enough alone. You are also spectacularly ignorant and when I heard you were a PUP member, it made even more sense. Who else but a dimwit votes for them? And you must be even more desperate to be part of that joke that even Palmer has all but given up on.

'Maria'  you can talk it up as much as you like.  It is pointless.  An elephant is an elephant, and naming it an iguana does not make it an iguana.  Real 'creepy' is when people start searching the internet, as Lisa Jones did, with specific intent to locate and identify anything she could find on me.  Why is it that you say nothing about the real creeps?

I am in zero 'grief,' Maria.  Deflect, prevaricate, abuse.......do what you like.  It does not change the facts which you are ever so obviously ignoring, and no-one else could possibly be blind to it.   As I have already said, when you can say that I have searched the internet, as Lisa Jones did concerning myself, with specific intent to locate and identify anything I could find on you, then I'll readily concede that I would be a 'creepy stalker.'

Yep....unlike me, you're a revolting passive-aggressive online predator who has stalked and preyed on a number of women across 2 forums.

These women can no longer post online.

Your details were eventually revealed out of many years of frustration by individuals who've had to endure your incessant online flaming and trolling on another forum which has permanently banned you.

If I were you, I'd make that $ 10 000.

The self confessed fool not only sits online waiting for me to post....Aussie also :

1. Starts/restarts topics asking everyone if I've been banned when he's calculated that I've been offline for more than 24 hrs.

Aussie has stalked and frightened men and women off the internet across 2 forums.

I had no idea...until it all came out over at FD's other forum PA.....where Aussie can no longer post as he has been permanently banned from there.

Aussie has posted other people's private details online, stalked other people online, obtained people's work phone numbers via stalking them online and suddenly calling them at work.....I mean seriously. Does this not tell you the story about this sick prick?

You should get help for your stalking problem before it gets you arrested. Your stalking of Lisa is dead-set creepy.

Watching how you typically misinterpret, fabricate and extend information about other people makes you look very suspicious indeed.

No one doubts you are a life-long taxi-driver. You exude that creepy quality often.

A lot of people are successful. You apparently don't know any of them and are limited to driving them around for a fare.

Excellent summation. Thank you Maria.

The drooling was yours, and that is abating only to be overtaken by that of "Maria."

really? Find any thread Lisa has commented on and I'll bet $100 you've followed shortly after with some snide comment.

That really is cute.  I am an active Member here and comment on all sorts of things.....including crap.

not going to take my bet?  ;D ;D ;D

being an active member doesn't mean you have to stalk with snide comments. How many other posters can I offer the same bet on and you won't take it?

I leave the snide comments for you to make.  You do it much better than me.

so you can't name any others?  ;D ;D ;D ;D

the difference is that I acknowledge my snide comments ... you on the other hand pretend you don't make them and that you're the victim

I suppose a very relevant factor is to consider how many others make garbage posts while asserting to be self proclaimed experts.  I can't think of any.

Because YOU are the real creep. If you just laid off a bit you wouldn't find yourself in so much grief. Grow up.

Well not yourself, or Maria, you are stating that you have never gone searching the Internet, stalking if you like, for details of other posters who have crossed your path?

  8-)

You are stating categorically you are not a similarly creepy stalker?

Aussie has stalked and frightened men and women off the internet across 2 forums.

I had no idea...until it all came out over at FD's other forum PA.....where Aussie can no longer post as he has been permanently banned from there.

Aussie has posted other people's private details online, stalked other people online, obtained people's work phone numbers via stalking them online and suddenly calling them at work.....I mean seriously. Does this not tell you the story about this sick prick?

And to think you were going to call up bobby and dob me in once :D LOL

It takes one to know one ;)
