The North Sydney by election has the liberals giving preferences to the big taxing, big regulating, big spending Greens.

Which Liberals.

The one's behind the stitch up candidate ... or the ones now backing the local Liberal now independent because of the stitch up?

If that was my electorate I would vote for the CEO of Kennards, Sam Kennard.

Have I missed it?

Where does it say Zimmerman is referencing the Greens over the ALP?

And it's a LIB safe seat

And LIBs leading 54/46

And Shorten is at 17% preferred PM

You think ALP are running.
How quaint.

And I also expected the Greens to know where the carbon tax or ETS revenue would be spent

How quaint

You should ask the Liberal party honcho's why they are preferencing the greens in North Sydney

It's because the liberal party faction monster has split the liberal vote ... and now the factional liberal monster is worried the grass root may actually win the seat from them.

A highly likely win is now a line ball result.

Zimmerman is in a safe LIB seat

LIBs leading 54/46 - bigger margin than when Abbott won and he won 90 seats

Turnbull preferred PM is 62% compared to Shorten at 17%

Greens plummets to 10% from 12%

And Greens think they are likely to win??  :D :D :D :D

Ted Mack working to install an independent in Joe Hockey's old seat

Ted Mack is plotting the defeat of another Liberal Party candidate in North Sydney.

The former federal MP, who twice won the blue-ribbon Liberal seat as an independent, is not contesting the upcoming byelection himself but will steer the campaign of Dr Stephen Ruff, a longtime senior orthopaedic surgeon at Royal North Shore Hospital.Dr Ruff has personally operated on about 20,000 local constituents and Mr Mack believes he has the credentials to cause a boilover amid widespread discontent at the factional fix that installed Liberal candidate Trent Zimmerman to succeed former treasurer Joe Hockey.

"I've never seen an election where a Liberal candidate is so unliked by such a lot of Liberal members and Liberal voters," Mr Mack told Fairfax Media.

Up to 550 Liberal branch members were denied a vote after the state executive of the NSW Liberals pushed through a truncated preselection process, ignoring reform proposals put forward by John Howard that would ensure the Liberal rank and file were given a vote.
