I predict a bar room brawl style of election for the next President of the United States.

It was reported on 7 Sunday today that the Democrats are building up 'dirt files' on The Donald.

If they use this ploy, given that Trump is overwhelming favourite to be the Republican nominee to challenge, then they will be playing right into his hands.

No one plays dirty pool better than Donald Trump.

The thing that stands out here here is that from both sides of the fence Trump is the only one who faintly resembles a leader.

And the United Sates desperately needs someone who knows how to lead.

Barrack Obama has been like a limp cucumber sandwich out of a school bag.

Trump is out there but like I have said, he bleeds red, white and blue.

That would effectively be the end of the Republican Party as we know it.

Trump will not get elected. He is appealing to the uneducated, bigoted bogan which make big statements early on. 3) He is going to tear up the Syria / Iran peace deal.   This is going to be very interesting, will he then sent in US troops.  Which is again very expensive, in a time when the US economy is not doing well, and the treasury is printing billions of dollars a year. 

All of these three combined, I have a strong fear that Trump is going to ruin USA.   

I foresee a country with more debt, more enemies abroad, and more hostility from other countries.  And its important because US is very important to Australia's regional and national interest.

If you look at the Israeli wall, it did not stop rocket attacks.  But its nature of all walls, people can just circumvent it.   And the US Mexico border is a huge expansive area.  The wall will be expensive to build, and maintain. 

In terns of gun control, the issues did start with laxed gun control in the US.   But, realistically speak its very difficult to police now.   And the fear is that terrorists can get access to firearms very easily in the US. 

I am not too concerned with Syrian / Iran peace deal been tear up.  Most of the players are just there for their own interest anyway.   But that could mean countries like Iran would cooperate a bit ... less enthusiastically, and that someone from somewhere would have to make up the difference.  And that means boots on the ground, which would be an extremely costly affair. 

All of these combined, would make US more of a target.  And there will be more attacks on US and its allies in the long run.  The response of course would be to increase military presence.    Add these liability to the current financial state of Western Nations, it does not look good at all.

Unfortunately, this is not a perfect world. What is happening is the Genesis of possibly the last great struggle, although that's what they said about World War 2.

The Constitution applies to Americans. Refugee claimants are not Americans therefore it can not be unconstitutional

Foreign Muslim applicants for visas are subject to US policy, which has to square with the constitution.

Donald Trump and Marco Rubio won Tuesday’s night primetime Republican debate, according to an overnight poll of Internet users who watched the contest, but Mr. Trump came out as the favorite among Republicans and left the best impression about his ability to serve as president.

Some 24% of debate-viewers named Mr. Trump and 23% picked Mr. Rubio as the winner of the eight-candidate event, which was sponsored by the Wall Street Journal and Fox Business News. Ted Cruz and Ben Carson followed, with 13% declaring each to have won.

Mr. Trump’s lead in the Internet survey was larger among debate-watchers who said they’d vote in a Republican primary.

Republican primary voters in the survey gave Mr. Trump top marks for a number of qualities. He came in first when respondents were asked which candidate was best able to handle the job of president, which candidate best understands the problems facing “people like you,’’ and who would be best able to improve the economy and keep the U.S. safe from terrorism.

Mr. Rubio came in second to Mr. Trump on those questions among GOP voters.

The CIA Director admits that amongst the refugees - there will be ISIS terrorists.

No travel ban on Americans. However if they are found to have gone to the Middle East to support ISIS then they will have their citizenship revoked

INteresting thoughts from a Presidential historian.

Trump at the moment rides high in the polls because each time he gets behind, he goes on and make some extremist speeches.  I think he will struggle, when it comes to the specifics of managing the economy and real foreign policy.   And in that regard, and due to the lack of experience and refinement in politics, I believe the middle voters will swing more towards Hillary Clinton. 

In terms of republicans, I really do not feel that grass root white evangelical Christians will vote for Trump, who had divorced a number of times.   And in pure theological sense, the evangelicals do not believe in counting one's worth by how much money one have.   So, this is an real issue.    And for the true die hard tea party supporters / constitutional voters, they will more likely to go for a candidate like Rand Paul.   

And of course, then you have the racial minority vote.  Trump just about offended the entire latino, and Muslim community in US.   And I certainly do not see much African Americans voting for him either.

(1) People called him Islamophobic when he announce the Muslim entering America. I challenge people to find the transcript. They couldn't find it. I produced the announcement and it shut people up

(2) Therefore people's racist views on Trump is a result from sound bites from the media

(3) He's only ever behind once - when he announced. He's been ahead ever since

(4) He has announced some of his economic policies and he's leading the polls when it comes to the economy as well. The other candidates are releasing very similar policy to him.

(5) The lack of politics is exactly what is getting him the numbers. The middle voters are giving him the win over Hillary in plenty of polls

(6) There are also other polls in the last 5 months showing 65% of Americans think she's untrustworthy

(7) She's under an FBI investigation

(8) She's adopting most of Obama's policies - 75% of American thinks Obama is losing the plot and should resign

I thought I saw a transcript of him mentioning about it, but then again, I saw many things in the past.  Nevertheless, its almost irrelevant now, as countless media outlets have quoted him saying so. 

Meeting with black religious leaders does not equate to votes.  If its that simple in real life.   :)  Polls have shown that 75% of the blacks have a negative opinion of him.   However, in this regard, there are very few black republican voters anyway. 

In terms of his economic proposal.   Some of them are similar to other candidates like reducing personal or corporate tax.  Others like: 

A one-time deemed repatriation of corporate cash held overseas at a significantly discounted 10% tax rate, followed by an end to the deferral of taxes on corporate income earned abroad.
Reducing or eliminating corporate loopholes that cater to special interests, as well as deductions made unnecessary or redundant by the new lower tax rate on corporations and business income. We will also phase in a reasonable cap on the deductibility of business interest expenses.

They are what they called speculative savings.  There is no way that he is able to estimate how much he can raise from these measures.  As such, how can he say these can be used to pay for his tax cuts.... and middle voters in the US is not stupid.  This will surely a point of attack for the democrats.   Not to mention, these measures are more in line with a more leftish sort of policy.

The current lack of policy do get him more supporters in the short run, but do these translate to real votes later on is a big question. 

There is a real risk that Trump have the potential to take the Republican party too far to the right, and cause a bad showing at the polls.

You will find that many legal latinos are related to illegal latinos as well.  Its like say you are from England, and today there is someone in Australia saying that England is bringing drugs, crime and rapists, I am sure you will be offended as well. 

And of course, the muslim community is not quiet.  There are alot of voices of protest.  But to resign from what?  He is not elected yet.  He is trying to get elected using his own money.  He is his own boss.  The only thing that can happen is to get the Republican party to withdraw his candidacy.   But thats not resigning.   But you can be assured that there will be no muslim votes for him.
