This is a very graphic, frank piece about what laws restricting/forbidding abortion result in. Not just backyard abortions but self–abortions and then the mother gets charge (and at least one jailed for 20 years(!) for attacking her foetus.

This is very similar in the US to the situation before Roe v Wade.

Forbidding abortion does NOT mean abortions don’t happen!


All these laws (and don’t forget the dopy Libs in Victoria wanted to criminalise abortion) don’t result in no abortions, they result in backyard and self abortion.

I believe this subject belongs here, these stupid anti abortion laws are christian extremism.

I guess christian/rightwing extremism doesn’t matter. >:(
