No regrets - my mantra to carry out 2015.

When you live long enough you look back on your life and see clearly the mistakes big and small that you have made in this lifetime.

But we are all human and we all make mistakes some of them bloody huge. At the end of the day we should be able to forgive and love ourselves. After all, how can you love another if you don't love yourself first?

Its O.K. to stuff up, it really is. The main thing is not to waste further life worrying about something you cannot change for a second.

Regret - whatever it is that makes you feel bad, think about it hard, then chuck it overboard and never give it a glance again.

You can start over anytime in life. I did in my mid 60's and I am happier than I have been in decades.

Plenty of mistakes before I had the inevitable train wreck.

But, life goes on and life is sweet if you can pick yourself up, forgive yourself and get on with it.

I know 'the ghosts of Christmas past come to get you at this time of the year. If you are one of those, who experience the pain of Christmas Ghosts, give them the shove, use the 'I choose not to' mantra.

A better life for you is within your grasp, just reach out and smell the roses.
