Quote:
THE Palaszczuk Government will wind back a three-strikes rule where dodgy public housing tenants are evicted and instead offer counselling if complaints are received.

Why would she care it is the QLD taxpayers footing the bill for these scumbags who vote for her.

God forbid she would give decent needy people houses instead of them

No link, but on your one line I would have to agree. There are state housing lists a decade long. If people don't look after the property there are many that will.

This is not as simple as you might reckon.  I'm no expert, and all I know is from my experience whenever I drive a Cab.  Just about universally, those in public housing have a personal issue of one kind or another, sometimes.....even often.............of a cerebral kind.

It is pretty schitty that I say so, I know, but facts are facts.  Many of these people are disadvantaged and far from main stream.  Many have no idea how to conduct themselves in an acceptable way in such a very close living environment.  There is always trouble.

Second best pooch I had (nothing beats a great Dobermann as Sax was) was my 14th Birthday present.  Mother was a purebred Cocker Spaniel....Dad was a travelling salesman.

Cheers.

Baird brought in better standards for public housing in NSW making it easier to evict tenants who are violent criminals, long overdue.

As for damage they should give the bill for fixing it to the person who caused it
