I doubt Abbott cares about money much.  He is power/ego driven.  He is so convinced of his personal God (and Mummy and B.A Sante Maria, Jesuit) given right to rule that if he lost endorsement or an election in his blued to the hair roots seat, it will reduce him to dribbling nut case status.

And given the poll was of 743 people, in an electorate of over 100,000 voters, I doubt Abbott is too terrible worried.

Stop carrying on about Tony Abbott.

Is it??? Less than 400 people think he should step down......even for a "safe" seat, that'd be about normal.

In the last election, more than 400 people voted for Rise Up Australia party, the Christian Democrats (Fred Niles' mob) and the Stable Population party, just in Abbott's own electorate.

You are in need of remedial education regarding the nature of statistical samples.

I was thinking exactly the same thing.
Thats 400 people out of a sample of 743 people, not 400 people in the entire electorate.

But then again, conservatives always have struggled with science and statistics.

Tony Abbott is hopping to make a comeback. He is deluded. His extreme brand of ideological divisive politics was rejected.

The sample of 743 was probably made up from TAI members living in Warringah.... :D

Why would an organisation that says it has "no formal political or commercial ties"  ::) commission such a survey anyway?

Most likely that greasy sewer rat turncoat was behind it, give the sniper a little nudge closer to the door.

It's actually quite boring having somebody that can articulate the most basic of sentences and not provide the left with hours and hours of entertainment like ol dumb dumb could , I have changed my mind, I hope he stays and takes a shot at the top job again when the greasy sewer rat falls on his sword.

Remember when Howard lost and Abbott stopped getting his government ministers allowance and was crying about how he was going to pay his mortgage on a measly $190K opposition ministers pay rate ?

he would be plenty concerned about the money.

However the odds of a male with a blue tie losing in his electorate are 1M /1.
