i dont know your circumstances but the quite common situation seems to be this.

2 people get into a relationship (marriage or whatever) and they pop out a couple of kids.

They then both , sort of, "take each other off the market"

Hubby doesnt mind that the wife puts on a little weight , cuts her hair a bit shorter.
She doesnt mind that he does the same.

I'm not saying this is a bad thing at all.

In fact its a fairly stable and sensible way for people to reproduce and raise kids.

But,  do women secretly want a partner who is a dope-ass stud....you bet, but she's scared he'll be targeted by other women.

So theres a sort of "unwritten " agreement , in a lot of couples to become this way (sort of mediocre..but in the best sense of the word).

I like men to have a sense of humour, to understand what people are about, and to be able to have conversations about stuff in life, small stuff, and big stuff. In other words, communication is important.

As for being strong and protective, women can be that also to others, at times of need.
No one, no matter whether a male or female, can be all that strong and protective all the time.
We have our ups and downs, and need that confidential partner or friend that can be supportive and give us a lift when down in the dumps.
Strength comes in giving that spiritual and mental pep talk too. Not just in physical strength.

When a single-and-availabe woman meets a man at a party or in the workplace, she starts 'sussing' him out right from the beginning. Kinesics is the art and science of reading body-language, and women are fairly expert at this from a very early age.

She's reading the guy like a book while pretendng to be listening to what he's saying.

All women have a mental check-list where men are concerned.

1. "Check the size and firmness of his buttocks".

2. "Check the size and firmness of his erect CENSORED!

3. "Check the size and firmness of his wallet"

These are all very practical criteria for committing to a relationship.

the dating for fun phase and then the serious relationship phase (maybe for the purpose of popping out babies).

Try being all well mannered and polite and offering to buy a drink for a fairly hot woman.
You are already showing low status .
you will be blown off.

Make that same hot woman feel like you are not that impressed and she will chase for validation.

You see women can get a man anytime they want .

aqua was a bit of a chode for a while.
til he figured out the dynamic.

getting good with women is exactly the same as getting good with riding horses.

you start off incompetant, you try to suck up to them (doesnt work..they just see you as beneath them and low value and no woman wants to be with a low value man).

slowly you gain confidence , through lots of reference experiences.

eventually, you master it and go thru a few break ups and realise that you now have the skill set to find another woman.

now you feel pretty good, pretty confident, you arent needy or anxious(as you have this skill)  and so that makes you an attractive partner to be with.

women do like confident men and men who have a sense of purpose.

why do women fall for rock stars and singers ?...because it takes a lot of confidence to get up and sing flawlessly at the top of your voice in front of people.

like dealing with horses its all about being mindful and realising every interaction will be teaching something to your partner.
if they see you as "rock solid" it allows them to be "emotional" and still have a place of "comfort"

thats why they like strong and protective....it allows them to experience their feminine energy


and boxer, you would be amazed how many women just sit there mesmerised when you tell them about ekhardt toll or steven covey . they are so used to blokes trying to impress them with stories about jet ski's and flash cars

If you are at a party and there is a chick there who is a bit up herself and obviously the alpha chick, go up and say in a confident voice , something like this
"your dress is a little too blue" or something that whilst not being rude, is not being try-hard.

Now, nearly all alpha females are validation hunters, so she will chase to get you to change your mind.
A suck- up comment wouldnt even register in her day but a diss will.
Now she is emotionally invested in you . it deosnt matter that these emotions may even be negative at first, as you can flip that by being funny.
and when the beta females see her chasing after you, you are now the prize buddy.

oh and with regards to being funny, this is one where women do actually get it right. women say they like a funny guy and they do like a funny guy.
Just dont be a little dancing monkey. you have to pump their emotional state . it is the "range of emotions " that women like . (evidence...look at the range of emotions in every Rom Com ever made).
