Suicide bombers/attacks in Paris and we are all over it. Instanbul.....nothing here.
Ch 9 News leads off with the funeral of Cole Miller and the Instanbul bombing rated at about the seven minute in mark. |

Funny how the Islamic state claimed responsibility for that Russian plane before anyone knew why it crashed and the Paris attacks yet they have never claimed responsibility for any attacks in Turkey.
Erdogan is killing Turkish-Syrian and Iraqi kurds with Tanks planes and guns, the Kurds have been the strongest force against the Islamic state. Why are all those young men fleeing through Turkey while these women stay to fight the Islamic state, click on images google.com.au/?gws_rd=ssl#q=ypj |

have you finally worked out that we rank incidents according to cultural and racial similarity? are you the last person in the country to work this out? |

I do. you are no different than anyone else. it is part of the human condition. we rank the value of people according to their distance - racially, culturally, philosophically - from us. our outrage is dependent on that distance. it is not actually ranking their 'worth' but more our interest level. we cannot and do not get as upset about a bombing in istanbul as we do by one in our own suburb. it is about distance. I would guess almost everybody on here understand that - except you - and JS of course. |

Turkey is a cesspit of terrorism and is the conduit for Jihadists traveling to Syria and Iraq.
The bombers who killed in Bangkok were Turks. |

I am not part of your alleged 'human condition.' That's why is am very off hand about the 'sob sister' mentality which goes on when some celebrity falls off the perch. The death of a homeless unknown means as much to me. |

Attaturk's secular and progressive Turkey is melting away. Kurdistan is a sideshow. At the bottom of Turkey's problems is fanatical Islam.
I should add that this bombing targeted Infidels, mostly German, it is not as though it is being ignored for the reasons Longweekend is whining about. |

The bomber was Syrian, who was born in Saudi Arabia.

you are different that is true. but not in a good way. You literally exhibit a number of traits of a sociopath. you treat ALL incidents the same - little to no concern. you are a damaged soul with a barely functioning conscience and a borderline socipath. ironically, this is the best evidence of having been a lawyer! |

It happened in Sultanahmet, the main tourist area of Istanbul, at the Egyptian obelisk. I was at that exact obelisk a few weeks ago. The tourist industry will be f*cked for a while now.

Even more so now, because most of their tourist dollars came from Russia before they screwed that up too. |
