I've many times posted the figures from studies that 60% of physical abuse is by women, but women suffer 60% of the injury, the difference being obvious - you attack a stronger person and you run the risk of being the loser. I've also posted many times that 40% minimum of REPORTED domestic violence or relationship violence is by women.
I can guarantee you I've been hit by women many more times than I've hit them, and even stabbed, let alone assaulted by police after my then woman assaulted me, with me not retaliating. The whole message about relationship violence needs to be addressed fully on the facts. |

why didnt you walk away grap??>. the first time she hit you lets face it we hear that all the time from men.. why did she stay??... you do read dont you.. DOMESTIC VIOLENCE> its says nothing about WOMEN...... most murderers are men.... murdering women.....not women murdering men.... and as we all know its usually by someone they KNEW...or at least trusted in some way.. these are the facts.. sure women can FIGHT BACK... are you suggesting they dont?... .if a man attacked me is that OK.. but if I attack a MAN thats wrong.. because thats the way you sound when ever you come into this topic...you bemoan the case for men against women.. but you never say... why didnt you leave.. move out...? you see a few threads claiming the reason women are abused.. its because they nag or scream or whinge.... well what do the men do to antagonise their women folk... you claim you have been hit many times.....by women.. so what did you do?????... domestic violence is a two way thing.... its usually male against female or female against male........do we have facts on gay D.V. why does it matter????>. when children are involved its wrong... you seem to think its all about women getting the attention......when one women after another is murdered by her life partner..could that be the reason do you think> what do you want done about it??... personally I couldnt live in any relationship without respect.......so I would leave in any case... but no one would raise a fist to me.....and that goes for me raising a fist to anyone else... your attitude really stumps me.. |

*Warning ~ very nasty images*
Butter never melts in a woman's mouth but meat cleavers go okay into a man's skull in the skilled hand of a violent woman. Link. |

Some men actually seek women who give them a bit of curry.
I can't say I'm one of those. |

I like a bit of curry but I wouldn't go as far as letting the wife use my skull as a chopping board to make it. What about women?[ Does it go both ways? |

Some men like curry more than other I guess. Some find a woman who's speciality is curry !!!!Yuk!!! I had a partner prone to a bit of violence. North Italian girl, tall, athletic, blonde hair. When she lost her temper she'd get mad and hit me and cry when she hurt her arms when I blocked her strikes. There was definitely no STINKY curry involved in this relationship. She did make amazing home made gnocchi tho. |

One piece of garlic vs 1kg of stinky crap in every meal. Type 'why do indians' and 'why do Italians' into Google and see what suggestions you get ;D ;D |

Never had an Indian GF but I love Indian food, I grew up with it, my dad's side of the family came here in 1948 from India. Used to swap my lunch in primary school with an Indian guy, he even took me home one arvo so I could watch his mum make the heavenly foods he brought to swap with me. On the other hand, I still remember the smell and taste of pashing on with Enza from the southern Italian family over the back fence. That was 42 years ago. |

My first choice lady at the moment is Italian - like me, she is loyal to her ex, who is ill. We share the same values..... a rare thing these days. I have no Italian ancestry... but we just have that value system. |

Enza was a nice girl, middle daughter, second child, older sister of my friend, I'm not speaking about her personality, just the result of her family's cuisine on kissing and snuggling. It was only once... |

This I understand... a middle son should never get involved with the first daughter.... let them fight it out for supremacy with the first son.... the LOML was the first child and what a pain... her sister was far better...... wish we'd gotten together instead.... I'm the second son, and fiercely independent... cannot stand this BS that first children carry on about so much, wanting to be boss all the time..... don't need it. Saw the same thing with my own kids... the first was always trying to establish seniority.. the second was as bemused by such antics as I was with my brother... and a far more balanced individual. Same with the ex's (the one I am carer for) kids - the second and third will gang up on the first who always assumes he has the right to rule and run everything.... BORING..... but NOT leadership..... I'M Leadership Incarnate..... |

The first part of that post is funny. My mum's family is from Sydney, my dad's from Perth, after immigration from India in 1948, my grandpa was a Colonel in the British army in India, our family has a long history there, to the East India Company days. My GGGrand father was a telegrapher for them. Then became a mounted retribution, after the Sepoy uprising, with one of the many light horse units. The Kharki Rassalla. |

Ha? She was a nice girl, someone I grew up with that lived just over our back fence. They were southern Italian, they were good people but the only one I got intimate with was Enza. She smelled and tasted of old garlic. That's the truth. I never went back for more. Edit: Those damned wogs used to do thing like make their own tomato sauce and wine. We pinched a bottle of wine from the old mans shed, labelled Claret, I've never drank it since. The police were called because we stole the salad dressing we tipped out. Just as well we were 13. |

My grandfather was a Private, four digit enlistment number, wounded twice in WWI... stayed on when medically unfit in late 1916 after being wounded twice, as a Battalion runner, and also worked with the 3rd Canadian Tunneling company under Messines .... family apocryphia is that he and Hitler met in No Man's Land and nodded and went on.. both runners and mutual respect. Me dad was a Militia man at Milne Bay then Port Moresby, was taken into the 2nd AIF and posted to aerial re-supply, and was a jump master for the US 187th Airborne Brigade at Nadzab.... I'm the Colonel.... but nobody knows it... here anyway.... and who cares anyway...... I suspect my great-grandmother was either Indian or Chinese.... certainly explains the beautiful and sun-bearing olive skin..... my mother says we're part Lakota Indian from family travels across North America... very complex and I plan to get a DNA test...... might be interesting..... I'm descended from the Ancient High Kings of Ireland with blood ties to every Royal Family in Europe.... means nothing to me.... we are a widely traveled lot.... |

I love garlic........
The first part of that post is funny. Where did the funny end? You had to see the LOML's sister... man....... what a honey..... English Rose through and through..... we should've been an item and nearly were .. but hell.. life isn't always like that. |

Don't blame for past. I know where and what my family has done, mostly, in India. Why the Raj came into being. My GGGrandfather is on the Delhi Telegraph Memorial. He saved India for the British, for another 100 years. Edit: No I don't feel guilty, just recognising history, where I came from. If you can, it's a different world today, by a long shot, or maybe not. |
