No one is forced.  But...the point you overlook is that FD/OzPol hosts it, and that means OzPol has a direct responsibility for it and what goes on, and is posted there.  It can exist without any involvement of FD/OzPol.  It chooses to bludge on FD/OzPol, and by association, that does have an impact here.

The only thing that is surprising is that Redneck agreed to be Jovial Monk's (& Co) meatpuppet in this latest attempt to have PA shut down. As far as I am aware Redneck was always treated with courtesy when he logged in to post at PA after being banned from here. Now he has made enemies ... for what? For who? An elderly infant who lacks the maturity to even run a board here at OP?

If anyone is concerned about the fairness of elections at PA then simply participate and you will be allowed to vote. Some years back Aussie brought in his cabbie friends as meatpuppets and stacked the election in his favor. Later Freediver threw Aussie out and after that we simply haven't been able to let any and everyone vote because he (and Jovial Monk) attempts to throw elections.

All one needs do for voting privileges is participate. The elections are not rigged, another Aussie lie, FD decides the admin as per the votes. There are only three people banned and never eligible to vote. I bet nobody can guess who they are?  ;) Everyone else that is registered and makes semi regular posts there is entitled to a vote.
Only turning up there to whine about being banned from here is not considered reasonable participation. ::)

As for cleaning it up, from my memory I had to ask you to stop using f... Every second word when you did post there and told you it was not acceptable in the politics threads and that if you needed to express yourself in that way post in the Vortex which is where all the unsavoury action is contained. We allow guest posting in the Vortex so often banned members show up with the pure intention of creating problems, I do not blame current members for replying in kind. Maybe our biggest problem is we are a democracy and do allow non members to post but we believe in free speech, you ought to consider that some time.

No, that's OK. I thought I recognised the style and victimology, ideology and sense of superiority.

It matters when you are attempting to communicate.

Infections can be tolerated for a long time.

It's when they become dangerous to the host that something should be done.

I agree.  As to why it is tolerated while there is obvious decline in Membership here......I have no idea.  Best ask FD and the GMods.

I reckon the easiest solution is for FD to give the PA Crowd proper and ample warning, allow them time to transfer all their data to their own host, and then cut them loose.  They are then happy vegemites paying their own way, completely independent and can do what they like as often and as badly as they like.

Yeas I do.  Hence my positive and sincerely meant encouragement that PA break away from the teat of OzPol and FD.  If that happens, hopefully, they will be content having their very own playground where they can do what they like and it does not reflect back here.  I do not want to see it ever close down, as I have said many times.  I am urging them to pay their own way, be totally independant and self reliant.

The only reason cods is the fact that the victims were once members there and treated very badly- that is enough to upset anyone, you would have to be their shoes I guess ( school yard bullying )- I have left there because  twice I didn't have what it took to suck up to a very unworthy bully who called himself an admin. just not me at all.

Monk is very happy now and making a whole lot of gelato and all kind of delicious food, he is happiest when he cooks..he is oblivious to goings on here, a much happier man for leaving it all behind.. thats me down now- for real this time. Nice to see SN is all about peace now.

My comment is about you being unbiased. I Thankyou for that, you could have said nothing and let them think you agreed with Aussies assertions.
As you will note from yesterday and so far today I intend to just ignore the abusers from now on too. Unfortunately that seems to make a certain poster even more abusive but that's what the mods are here for.

I said I have not engaged in fights here for days which is true. If you think I am somehow going to be dictated to by you what posts are allowed at PA you totally miss the point. You need to stop reading at PA if it bothers you that much.
Your best bet is to ask Aussie to stop his crusade to have PA removed from here. My posts there today are perfectly reasonable given he is still insisting PA be removed. They are not abusive comments they are asking him questions to explain his position to questions asked here.
When you actively pursue Aussie about stopping his crusade you may be in a better position to make judgements on my posts. Until then I would really prefer you did not engage with me, as you only want things to go your way or the highway.
I have no intention of closing down free speech at PA. Take cods advice,if you don't like it don't read it.

FD set Relationships up, not me.  FD appointed me to Mod it after the original Moderator became absent for a long time.  It is his baby not mine.  It is part of OzPol, not some separate entity as PA is is.  It does not 'hang off' Oz Pol, it is part of OzPol.  I just baby sit it as his appointee to do so, and I am quite happy to do so.

Are you now claiming PA is part of OzPol?

FD owns PA too.

FD did not set it up.  He agreed to host it after Mattus withdrew his server for PA's use.  At that time, PA was still a decent place to post.  It is no longer, and has not been since AiA and you became Admins.

It exists at the whim of FD, and given the level of disgrace there which is a threat to FD, it amazes me that you (and others) have not taken an initiative to protect the place from a summary overnight move to remove it.

Mothra,  I have been a member there and everything Aussie say is the God's honest truth- SN and AiA lie through their teeth, because they have too,  the truth is too disgusting/embarrassing-  the last frackas  ( 2 days ago) resulted in abuse of myself with a picture (I can pm you if you want ) that will spell everything out without any further explanation from me.

99% of the guest posting in the Vortex would come from here. The  PA members generally don't bother with guest posting. There's no point because they can say what they want without censorship. Ozpolitic members who are censored here can badmouth any member they dislike under any nick they please on PA and someone else will be blamed for it.

mantra I go in to the vortex when there is trouble on here......i find the format confusing so prefer ozpol...but the vortex is what all the trouble is about so thats what I check out.. and now I am told most of the posters are FAKES.. they are not the real deal.....

I was not aware of that.....until the monk post came up....and now I know better..

its wrong wrong wrong.. that someone can steal someones ID .. in the real world they would be jailed....we should have some protection on any forum.... from this....


so maybe you would like to rethink what is happening over there.....skippy says one thing about people from ozpol....but what about the other ones.....who posted up the monk thread for instance........that is the pits.
