Title: Aborigines Carjack School Principal
Post by Mr Hammer on May 12th, 2016 at 8:50am

Teachers evacuated from Aurukun after teens allegedly carjacked principal
Teachers are being moved from the remote Indigenous town of Aurukun to Cairns, after a school principal was allegedly attacked by teens brandishing an axe.

The second group of teachers being moved is due to arrive in Cairns tonight.

Police believe the male principal tried to intercept an armed robbery at a teacher's home about 1.20am Sunday, when a group of youths set upon him.

One of the young men allegedly threatened him with an axe, and stole his car.

"The incident, in particular the other night, is a sad set of circumstances, where an individual who is committed to helping the education of kids in Aurukun became the victim," Assistant Police Commissioner Paul Taylor said.

its nothing new... but what are we doing about it.. bugger all that I can see,.

That's true Cods but it's also true that aboriginal communities are out of control. A nurse was murdered recently, plus this , plus the thousands of incidents not being reported.

another time, at a school my sister was working at near Campbelltown students took the principles wheel nuts off his car because he cancelled the yr 10 farewell ... his wheels came of as he was driving on the freeway

Got to agree with cods there Honky

Whenever you see the news or programs such as A Current Affair or Today Tonight leading with headlines like "Violence on our streets" or "Road Rage Carnage" how many Aboriginals are in the footage? None, it's always white bogans. Or the dreaded immigrant.

When Raven worked for the Aboriginal Legal Service do you know the number one offence Aboriginal people were sentenced to gaol for?

Driving without a license.

Sadly when it comes to violent offences in this country Whites beat Aboriginals hands down

Further evidence.

Let's look at Australia Day. Alcohol abuse and violence.

New Years Eve. Alcohol abuse and violence.

Let's look at major Aboriginal events

NADIOC week. No alcohol abuse or violence reported.

Survival Day concerts. No alcohol abuse or violence reported.

Christmas, Easter, f.uck it every public holiday. No reports of Aboriginal violence.

We have them beat every time.

When current affairs programs do segments like this, they usually target white people. And seeing that aborigines make up 2% of Australia's population, we would not think that they have a monopoly on violence in Australia. Non-aborigines would have to be on their best behaviour before we would have to rely on aborigines to be depicted disproportionately high in percentage of violent thugs, compared to their racial demographic.

True, the last death in custody in the NT was for a man who was arrested under the NT's "paperless" arrest laws. These laws allow police to arrest people for minor infractions and hold them without charge for 4 hours without any paperwork.

Mr Langdon, a 59 year old male was arrested by police for sitting in a park, minding his own business. As Counsel assisting the coroner Peggy Dwyer told the inquest

Quote:
He had committed no crime, but was detained by police because he had been seen drinking liquid from a bottle in a public place

As the Coroner himself said

Quote:
he was not causing a disruption before or during his arrest and at all times was polite and cooperative

3 hours after being arrested he was dead.

Then there was the woman in WA who was in custody due to unpaid fines.

Ms Dhu died from staphylococcal septicaemia and pneumonia, following an infection in her fractured ribs that spread to her lungs.

She told police a number of times she was in pain and needed to go to hospital. However, according to a Senior Constable testifying at the inquest the Sergeant told her she was "A fu.cking junkie who was faking her illness"

She went to the health clinic three times in as many days before her broken ribs were discovered and treatment administered. By then it was too late.

Two nurses also testified that the Sergeant told them she was faking her illness.

outback aboriginal communities are a huge problem with violence, sexual attacks and alcohol/drug/petrol abuse.. not to mention paedophilia..

every time someone tries to fix it all of the howlers come crying out to howl the place down... and this is why it'll never be fixed..

howlers who haven't a clue, of what is going on in these communities..

the community we are talking about is particularly bad.. men fighting, women fighting, kids fighting... alcohol abuse, domestic violence etc etc  etc.. you name it..

well done to the "DO" gooders... I hope you are happy with your work..  ::)

So how did he die in custody?

If in fact he was drinking alcohol it matters little .... the law is that drinking alcohol in a public place is prohibited.

Was he well known to Police?

And in both cases above you're saying they were bashed in custody & died of their injuries?

Aboriginals aren't the only people who die in custody nor are they the only ones who get bashed by coppers.
