I think he meant that had the perp known he was facing an armed 300 or so people, the likelihood is that the massacre would never have happened.

Today, I'd like to share with you a couple of my favourite Australian expressions in the hope you'll add some of your own ...

Rough as hessian underpants (unattractive or tastes bad).

Full as two Mudgee mailbags/a private school hat rack/a public school/a fat man's undies/fairy's phonebook/a goog (replete).

Hmm, sorry to burst your bubble, but both Hillary and Trump is not going to be your savior.  All of the presidents, past and present are bound by the congress.    This is exactly why things like Obama care took so long to pass.   This system prevents a tyrant been elected.   So, Trump wants to stop ALL muslim going in and out of USA?  Good luck with that, unless he can amend the patriots Act.   Want to build a multi billion dollar wall on the border  Mexico, and then bill Mexico?  Good luck with that either, when the US is nearly broke with debt.
