Title: Still MORE Validation for Pauline
Post by PZ547 on Jul 10th, 2016 at 10:51am
While conducting a bit of casual research online in relation to Halal certification, I came across this item

It has a poll

The poll results blew me away

because in response to the question: ' Are You Concerned About Pauline Hanson '  (or words to that effect)

54.2% of respondants have said 'No'

compared with 45.98% who answered 'Yes'

It's in the Jewish News

alongside an the article

It's just the loony inner city chattering classes that don't like Pauline. I have spoken to a lot of people in the suburban Sydney and the vast majority like her. The chattering classes can't seem to recognise that we have just as much right to vote as they do. And Pauline has won a Senate seat fair and square. She has just as much right to that seat as does every other 215 people democratically elected to Parliament.

I wouldn't take much notice of that poll.

It doesn't say how many people have voted.

"Ms Hanson speaks for a very small group of people and her views are out of step with the overwhelming majority of Australians. Of the 15 million people who voted last weekend, at least 96 percent did not vote for One Nation. National support for Hansonism is in the low single digits."

By that reasoning, then so does every other party that stood besides the Coalition and Labor. Apart from those two, no other party's vote was in double digits.

I'm just presenting you with the facts, matty:

As I have with you. What is the difference? If you claim that PHON doesn't represent a large amount of people, then that holds true for every single other party except the two majors.

Says it all, really, Dustwun, doesn't it.   She's inarticulate and a "nong" but people agree with her "vibe".

I wonder why they are willing to agree with a "vibe" when the one making it is, by their own admission an "inarticulate nong"?   Surely the Australian electorate is more intelligent than that?

Oh, wait, support for Pauline Hanson is in the low single digits, isn't it?

Appears the Australian electorate isn't as stupid as it seems, according to you.    ::)

they have been a disaster for the environment.
They needed someone like David Attenborough who could really connect. And David, like most "real" environmentalists  is always cool, calm, never flustered, never angry, very soothing, just like Mother Nature, just like a dip in a beautiful rainforrest pool.

Instead we got Sarah Hansen Young and Adam Bandt and Christine Milne...always angry, always hating on someone, always acting like they have a broomstick up their a*ss. About as un soothing and disconnected as you could get.

Back  to pauline.
She needs to be soothing and calming and not fall into the "frame" of a green senator.

Remain calm and people will seek comfort in your presence (and give you their vote).

Become hysterical and they will be repulsed

I listened to an interview with Peter Willcox (Rainbow Warrior Cpt.) last night. Now there's an alpha dog.
I've put his book on my read list.

The Green party should be split in two.
The smart science based environmentalists can stay in the green party.

The current green party, the ones who want to run around trying to bottle unicorn farts can join the fuchsia party. Fuchsia because they're not even good enough to be pink because pink used to be a masculine colour.

well, clearly a million or so voters were not repulsed.
and you dont speak for them.

But power and leadership are all in the sub communication.

the people who voted for her , rightly or wrongly (and it matters not a jot as their votes still COUNT numptie), are probably people who are a little more fearful and concerned then other voters.

Fearful and concerned people (lets use the example of "fearful and concerned people who have just survived a plane crash in the amazon)..they want a strong confident leader. Someone who just IS the sh*t.
They would want a "bear grylls" type personality

Hey listen folks, thanks for the all those votes...we are heading THIS WAY. come with me. I am a good leader. I know where the f*ck I'm going.
If pauline can "boss up", if she can really be that icey pimp Mother F*cker, like Gert whats-his-name, she will get momentum.

If she just becomes a whiney little b*tch like the women of the left, people will desert her in droves.

personally, i think Julie Bishop could head the Pauline Hansen party. i dont think Pauline has the skill set

My feeling is Pauline and her party will be one term wonders (some 3 years, others 6 because of the Senate terms)

They appeal to the lowest of society but even they will wake up.

She is rather dumb whatever way you look at her statements.

i'm not frightened by women who are assertive  Brian.

I'm just not impressed by women who are emotional.
Women tend to be more emotional (though many beta males also fall into this feminine frame).
And people who have not "mastered their emotions" should not lead, not because they arent assertive, but because they arent "mindful".

How do you become mindful....thru years of grinding it out, being subjected to brutal evolutionary pressure.

That means someone who has risen thru the ranks of the military or risen thru the ranks of business.
these people have been shaped by this training and now they are fit to lead.

Most women in politics have not followed this route (with the exception of Julie Bishop).
Most come from academia or the public sector.
Pauline is one of the few who have come through business. If she had opened a chain of Fish and Chip franchises.. Mc Hansens or something, then i would see a woman who was climbing the ladder, who was on the narrow road to succuess. But far as i can tell she never went anywhere.  She might as well have joined the public service and just been a mediocre person like all the women in the labor party (i include kevin Rudd in that..he was the most unmanly man in politics).

It is hard to respect mediocre people and entrust them with leadership.

You use a narrow definition of "assertiveness", Acquascoot.

I have known women in academia, in the home, in the military and in business who have been "assertive" while still not being imitation men - which is essentially what you appear to desire them to be.    Some have used their emotions to good effect.   Some not so much.  Still didn't stop them from asserting themselves and getting their point across.

Hanson is I agree overly emotional.   She believes everybody should be a jingoist and wrap themselves in the flag.  That is just emotive and of course theatrical.   She believes we are "in danger of being swamped by Asians", yet it hasn't happened, nor will it happen and even if it did, what business is it of hers?  If all Asian immigrants become Australians, they have a right to an equal democratic right to her.   She is not the Queen of Australia, nor is she ever likely to be the PM.    She is inferring that Australians of Asian descent are somehow dangerous to Australia as a nation.   Why?   Because she is a racist and a bigot.  QED.   ::)

Mixing up cultures creates social friction, but some of that isn't a bad thing per se. Large amounts of it can be, but Australia is nowhere near in a position to be concerned at the numbers we are seeing.

54.2% of respondants have said 'No'

I'd need to observe her close up to arrive at any decision there..... it's a difficult process and not always dependent on reports..... a person can be knocked out by a simple shake of the head from a Sergeant on a reviewing/selection panel..... if the Sergeant wouldn't follow that person into combat.... nobody will....

Oh I base my opinion on her last 3 years. ;)

So....why are you defending someone with the fatal political weakness she clearly has?  This goes directly to her judgement and whether she has learned anything from the 1990s +.  It strongly indicates she is still the same personally weak, vulnerable person who can be and is taken advantage of by anyone who offers her some platitude.

I'm doing what I can to find out out how Ashby got into her confidence, but that is proven difficult.

Just how did that pair get together?

QED.   ::)

this is an interesting point and needs clarifying.
Asians are not dangerous to australia ,
asians are going to challenge australians to get on the ladder to success or get left behind.

Now listen carefully, she isnt disliking them because she is racist and feels superior and neither are her supporters. They dislike asians because the asian is superior.
The asian has a better work ethic, he is more mindful, he does Tai Chi and meditates, he eats better. He is going to whip their a*ss and they dont want to have to step up.

So their thinking is low consciousness.

But the thinking of the leftard is also low consciousness.
the leftard wants lots of protection for those at the bottom, those who wont climb the ladder, the unionists, the welfare recipients, all the victim groups.
the leftard too, just like pauline, is in lower consciousness and lets the lazy part of his personality "trick" his brain into thinking he is being kind and compassionate when really the kind and compassionate and HARDER thing to do is to challenge people and treat them with tough love to teach them resilience and self respect.

So pauline and her brand of patriots and socialists and their brand of leaners are both completely off the narrow road to success

One Nation is still decimated from the last attack by all parties and the Abbott inspired court case where it was pretty much bankrupted of funds.
If Hanson does a good job this time round the party will do even better next time.

Disagree sure but by looking down on anyone with differing views you're simply pushing more people towards her.

Being a bigot against bigots is still bigotry you know.

Oh, I’s say it’s worse than that, Gordie.

I’d say it’s racist.

It's like how intolerant right wingers are intolerant of intolerant Muslims and are called rascist by tolerant lefties sticking up for the intolerant Muslims.  :D

No, Gordie, Islam is not a race. They’re just racist to us.

Why can't you just answer the question - do all other parties outside the two majors only speak for a small amount of people?

Still can't answer gweggy?

Yes.

It just goes to show that your argument against One Nation is not one based on principle but on side. Otherwise you would say that no party apart from the two majors represents more than a tiny fewl

You said "yes" in reply to my question of whether or not you could answer. In that context, yes meant you couldn't answer. If you meant it in relation to the previous question, then you should have specified.

Either way, at any rate, the fact that you didn't say so at the start and just tried to denigrate Pauline, shows your bias.

Oh, I'm definitely biased.

Pauline Hanson is a rude, attention-seeking, uneducated, bigoted, xenophobic, Islamophobic, plagiarising, ignorant racist.

She shouldn't be allowed anywhere near our parliament.

Islam is just a collection of ideas,  no?

You're not racist, Gordy. Some of your best friends are shifty Ayrabs.

They are not!

Well, they're tinted at any rate. Some of your best friends are dirty boongs.

They are not!

Well, you're going to need something, Gordy. Have you ever had sex with one?

I pashed one on a footy trip to Dubbo.
I don't know what % cast she was.
Please don't let this besmirch me.

Cast?

1/8 1/4 1/2. Pretty sure she wants fullbreed.

That's not racist, Matty. Full-breeds are not a race.

I'm not sure about Octoroons and Mulattoes.

What's a Matty?

Oh, Matty always asks this, Gordon.

What are you, Matty?

That's the kind of pseudo-slick comeback you almost get away with Karnal.

It is patently clear from the votes that Pauline speaks for a sizeable part of the electorate
Taking account of the limited organisation, I'd say she represents at least the equivalent of the green's support and look at the representation they've had.

One Nation has earned and deserve their voice.

She's an irrelevant, ignorant, bigoted, xenophobic, Islamophobic, racist.

Right you are, Bogie.

And if anyone wants to question her policies, WE DON’T WANT THEM HERE.

Of course anybody can question everybody's viewpoint Karnal.
Just as we can question the morality, justice and fitness of your Islamic views.

Of course you can question Islamic views but if you do you're Islamophobic

Oh, I would never call Bogie that, Matty. I’m not a Muslim.

How could Bogie ever be an Islamophobe?

Muslims are not a race, by the way.

Matty?

Sorry, Gordon, Mattywisk also pashed a full-breed on the bus to Dubbo. I get confused.

The follies of youth, no? He never took her home to meet Mother, so it’s all good.

Now I'm confused.

Did Mattywisk finger the boong on the footy oval?

I think he only pashed her on the bus, Greggery.

Does this really matter? Gordon still wouldn’t be racist, you know.

Of course.

Gins aren't a race.

I pashed an aboriginal girl in Dubbo.
That's about my extent of expirencing indigenous culture.

I've never heard the words 'Dubbo' and 'culture' mentioned in the same breath before.

Yes, but you live in a white enclave, Greggery. You people are racist.

Homo and I live with gen-u-wine Pakistanis. They even had a Boong at Homo’s school if you please.
