Many of the simple minded will vote for whoever they believe will win. Hillary will get a lot of votes from the Dead and Non-existent as well as the old yellow dog democrats who don't know the Party they grew up with has been replaced by socialism. On the other side of the issue is that many who have chosen not to vote for Democrat Lite Candidates in the last two elections will vote this year!

Whatever it took to get away from you vile Texuuns.
You know I often wondered why Texuuns don't go out in the heat of the sun. Then it hit me: it's because their so friggin fat all that grease flowing in their Texuun arteries would boil and they would explode. Gross. |

I spent last week in the Branson/Springfield Missouri area where it is cooler than here. Not in the blazing hot desert like a fool! I'm waiting until next February to take a cruise to the Bahamas, we already have our tickets.

The system is simple, you go to the hot places during spring break and the cold places in the summer months. Don't bother to thank me, it is just a service I am glad to help you with.

No morty torty you go on vacation when you are allowed to.
Try not to be mistaken for shark bait in those Bermuda waters. Then again, seeing you are Texuun, you might be considered a food hazard for them. |

21 July
Ohio Trump/Clinton 44/44 (& this isn't swing state but it is a surprise New Hampshire Trump/Clinton 37/39 ) There are a number of polls which include the two minor candidates but I am ignoring these, even though from a casual glance Trump's standing increases. |

Left-wing filmmaker Michael Moore, who rarely has anything positive to say about Republicans, predicted Wednesday that Donald Trump would win the presidency.
“I’m sorry I have to kind of be the buzz kill here so early on, but I think Trump is going to win,” Mr. Moore said on a special edition of “Real Time with Bill Maher.” Mr. Moore said the Republican National Convention speeches blasting Democrat Hillary Clinton may have sounded “crazy to us, but to millions and millions of Americans, this was music to their ears.” “One of the things I’ve been concerned about this week is that we’re all sitting [in] what as you refer to as the bubble, we’ve been sitting in our bubble having a good laugh at what you call this total sh— show, but the truth is this plays to a lot of people he has to win to become the next president,” Mr. Moore told Mr. Maher. A Michigan native, Mr. Moore pointed out that more people voted Republican in this year’s Michigan primary than Democrat. “That should be disturbing to everyone,” said Mr. Moore, a liberal provocateur and director of documentary-style films such as “Roger and Me” and “Fahrenheit 9/11.” He said there could be a “Brexit” by four large manufacturing states — Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin — that would give Mr. Trump the 64 electoral votes that Republican Mitt Romney lost by in 2012. |

Politico:
Donald Trump spent much of his acceptance speech Thursday night in Cleveland arguing that Clinton and President Barack Obama have made the country less safe. Leading into that speech, a majority of Ohio voters agreed. A Suffolk University poll conducted over the first three nights of the convention had Trump and Clinton tied on the ballot test at 44 percent. But the poll also showed 55 percent of likely voters in Ohio felt less safe living in the country over the past 5 to 10 years — and a 60-percent majority of them are voting for Trump, compared to just 27 percent for Clinton. And among the nearly quarter of likely voters who said terrorism and national security were the most important issues facing the next president, Trump leads by a similar margin: 61 percent to 26 percent. |

Michael Moore, whom I once admired strange to say, has added some more comment in the last 24 hours or so following the Dems VP pick.
He believes that the Sanders millenials & others are going to stay home even more so now, which of course is as good as a vote for Trump. |

Tuesday in Philadelphia at the Democratic National Convention in an interview with Politico, former Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell (D-PA) said Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s message on trade was “resonating with white blue collar workers” in his home state, which according to him Pennsylvania was “in play.”
Rendell said, “I warn Democrats Donald Trump is giving a message that is resonating with white blue collar workers who worked in factory who worked on construction crews. We would be naive if we didn’t understand that exists So this state is in play.” |

You shouldn't bother looking at these polls - the methodology is constantly being changed to engineer a lead for Hilary, thereby encouraging sheep to follow their chosen herd. There was no excitement for the candidate to begin with, a string of scandals, a nightmare of a convention which was empty apart from paid seat warmers and protesters, amid evidence of vote-rigging which has lost her over half of bernies votes, and her lead somehow increases? It's all lies bogey. You're half-way unplugged, don't go back in. |
Title: Re: The swing state polls Post by bogarde73 on Aug 1st, 2016 at 10:36am
No No. There are many pollsters out there who delivered pretty accurately during the primaries.
I'm already ignoring Reuters/Ipsos. |
