Title: It's taken 8 years but finally he's lost it
Post by bogarde73 on Jul 13th, 2016 at 4:11pm
Tuesday at the memorial service for the five slain Dallas police officers, President Barack Obama said that “it hurts” when peaceful protestors who are attempting to forward their grievances with the police treatment of African-Americans are “dismissed perhaps even by your white friends and co-worker and fellow church members again and again and again.”

Obama said, “When study after study shows that whites and people of color experience the criminal justice system differently — so that if you are black you are more likely to be pulled over, searched or arrested, more likely to get longer sentences, more likely to get the death penalty for the same crime. When mothers and fathers raise their kids right, and have the talk about how to respond if stopped by a police officer, ‘Yes, sir, no, sir,’ but still fear something terrible may happen when their child walks out the door, still fear that kids being stupid and not quite doing things right, might end in tragedy.”

“When all of this takes place, more than 50 years after the passage of the Civil Rights Act, we cannot simply turn away and dismiss those in peaceful protest as troublemakers or paranoid,” he added. “We can’t dismiss as a symptom of political correctness or reverse racism. To have your experience denied like that, dismissed by those in authority, dismissed perhaps even by your white friends and co-worker and fellow church members again and again and again, it hurts. Surely we can see that, all of us.”

With only six months left in his term, the moderate mask is starting to slip off.

He was a community organizer before going into politics, which means he excelled at staging protests, shaking down businesses and municipalities, and turning people against each other for political gain. It's Saul Alinsky 101.

And nothing has ever frustrated him more than his inability to impose the strictest gun control measures since the writing of the Second Amendment. So even when he thinks he's talking about something else, supernatural possession takes over and he starts channeling the ghost of Karl Marx!

Yes, 50 years we have held ourselves back and given the unearned first opportunities to his people without being able to lift them up!

Let's go back to personal freedom over group Rights, no quotas and no crybaby lawsuits.

But an certain he is saying it at the wrong place at the wrong time.

He's trying to legitimize the Black Lives Matter protesters, who should more accurately be called Brownshirt Lives Matter.

No doubt they've been assembled for political purposes, like the silly losers who did the Occupy Wall Street campout. But now BLM is getting out of hand, which won't win them any points with the populace, so Dear Leader is trying to smooth the waters for them.

Here's a little hint: You don't win over many hearts and minds among the general public when you block traffic on major thoroughfares. Some of us actually work for a living.

As some Gauleiter of the New Black Panthers is reported to have said the other day: "we are the original people!"

Seems like they haven't changed much.

Why is it if you take a stand for something you are automatically against something else? If you support Black Lives matter then you are anti police. If you support the police then you must hate black people.

Why can't you be pro-police and pro-black?

Only a fool deals in absolutes.

The treatment of black people by a number of police should be cause for concern in America. But even when there is video evidence critics bend over backwards to justify these deaths.

When a 12 year old boy playing with a toy gun in a park was killed within 2 seconds of police showing up city officials blamed the child for his death accusing him of "Failure to exercise due care to avoid injury."

It's his fault he was playing in the park. It's his fault he was killed in under 2 seconds by responding police.

It's his fault that the police officer who shot him quit his previous police job before being dismissed for deficiencies such as being emotionally unstable and unfit for duty, especially in handling firearms. only to be hired by a police department under federal investigation for allegations that officers use excessive force, including unreasonable deadly force.

And it's his fault that he was not seen as a child. Cleveland Police Patrolman’s Association president Steve Loomis said "He's menacing. He's 5ft 7, 191 pounds. He's not what you see in the video, he's a 12 year old in an adult body."

When things like this happen you can understand why people want to protest against police. Stories like this is almost a daily occurrence in America and the officer involved need to be investigated.

However these officers represent only a tiny fraction of the overall police force. The rest are honest police officers doing their best to serve their community. An oft time hard and thankless job but one they continue to do.

We do neither side any favours by failing to acknowledge both.
