personally , I use the same rules as I use with males, nothing to do with the sex of the person if you are physically weaker and less capable than me, I wont touch you unless you step into my face or attempt to physically assault me or any one around me. words dont worry me that much, male or female, so thats no excuse for a beating. Unless deliberatly malicious allegations, then gloves are off.

I think I have been firm but fair. I know you can't please everyone. I haven't suspended anyone yet and I don't want to but it's a two way street, don't cross the line, a head on is not a pleasant thing.

Mods never rein him in for constantly harassing people for what they may or may not have said.  He is like a dog with a bone and everyone knows that,  yet the next morning all hell breaks loose and ALL evidence of what he has said is gone. 

Now he is clear to deny he ever made such violent utterings and I am sure many PMs were sent and received behind the scenes.

How do you think the people he harasses should feel?  Really?

He is now protected for something he should own and the mods he manipulated are threatening others for doing exactly what he will continue to do with complete absolution.

I can assure you no-one is on my ban list. I resurrected a topic I thought worthy of being discussed and to not let it sink into a cesspit, I set terms on the thread. That some chose to go beyond that is out of my control, it was either suspend them or lock the thread. I chose the latter. I refer you to the second post, please read it.

well agnes it wasnt my intent to claim female mods go after women more than male members... what I meant was females are harder on other females....I do know of A.A. but she hasnt been around as far as I know....

and I am not suggesting she was harder on me than any male mod......so I am hoping she doesnt read that......it was just a general observation on my part of female behavior ....

I expect better from a mod and more so from a gmod......when you have POWER you have responsibility by setting and example.....

  I didn't either Red- and I was a member there when it first opened..only a  handful do- they love to plot and scheme in there- and only the trusted nasties are allowed  ( ones who are trying to get a position here in fact) .take it as a compliment- I did.

The way I see it, a GMod needs to be able to put themselves above the chaos.  Some will warn and watch those they don't like in the hope they will slip up so they can pounce.  Others will swing too far the other way and ignore indiscretions because they know they will be accused of being biased. 

The perfect position is in the middle and I don't honestly think there are many who  can achieve that balance.  Either way they still have to follow, and be happy with, the path Freediver has set.

The reason for this is understandable.  Moderators come and go over the course of the day and if suspensions are not known then "unsuspending" may not occur.  This may mean someone may be left suspended indefinately.

If people are excluded it is by their own doing.  There is no secret handshake but if it is abused, subsequent inclusion is limited.  I have no problem with that either.
