Dear Sprint,
by being here on Ozpolitic - ye hath mixed with the ungodly: Psalm 1 KJV 1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. 2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. 3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. 4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. 5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. 6 For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish. |

1 Timothy 2:12 Is this also how we should treat our wives? Are we not a partnership? On equal terms with our wives, one not above the other? |

"There is no more lovely, friendly and charming relationship, communion or company than a good marriage."
and "Let the wife make the husband glad to come home, and let him make her sorry to see him leave." -- Martin Luther I think Martin Luther would have been a neat person to meet. His wife, Katharine, was a runaway nun. (He had helped her escape the convent.) Luther was 42 years old when he took Katharine to be his wife, and she was 17 years younger than him. He also wrote: “There is a lot to get used to in the first year of marriage. One wakes up in the morning and finds a pair of pigtails on the pillow which were not there before.” Katharine always called him Doctor Luther, but he had a number of pet names for her. "My Lord Kate” “Doctor Katharine” (she was a fantastic nurse and well versed in herbal medicine) “Kette” (which is the German word for “chain”, he reserved it for when she was giving too many orders) |

Yeah but that's before he created Eve. So who was the first woman? Genesis 2:22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. If god took Adam's rib to crest his partner the genotype would be 44 XY. Ergo the partner would be male. Looks like it really was Adam and Steve. |
